Which Android Tab to Buy

Looking for an Android tablet to purchase - 10inch or larger
Prefer the squarer ipad size rather than the wider screen variety
Use is for internet, media etc - not games really
Preferences
Good battery life
OK screen with reasonable resolution
Modern OS - Android 6 or above - custom rom support nice but not essential if the stock is not awful
Warranty would be nice but not expected on a China tab I guess

Budget tba but I have been looking at This Onda and This Voyo

Anyone got any expertise and can recommend

    Samsung S2 ( unless the S3 has been released but I don't think so)
    It's a 9.7 inch screen like the iPad but oled.
    Great unit, screen and speed.

      Thanks mate - I did say budget tba but $650 odd is way more than I was thinking

        Fair enough.
        We have the Samsung S2 and the iPad Pro 9.7. The S2 is a much better tablet. Just for some info.

    i still think samsung are the best. I owned a Asus and it was a good quality for the price as well

    I bought a Galaxy Tab A 2016, however it's just a normal 16:10 ratio tablet with 1920x1200 display.

    You can find this around $300 AUD on eBay (got mine from DWI, I think and paid $245 dollars for it)

    My android tab just got Nougat about last week, performance is mid-range. Not great for gaming but fine for what I use it for (videos, PDF files, occasional comics, Slack and Youtube stuff). Battery life is above average and it can last roughly 12 hours of screen on time.
