        That is interesting. Wish I got this few days ago. Got Raspberry pi now for kids which might be challenging, but options are limitless. Though this one looks fun and easy.

        We got two Edisons (one died very quickly and they sent us a third one free of charge) but my son got bored of them pretty quickly. Programming is via sound waves( through audio jack) which is not working all the time but does the job after a few attempts. Wheels are not calibrated and it pulls to one direction which you need to recalibrate but we couldn't make them perfectly straight. Other than tthat I think they are cool toys as long as you have patience to sit down and program them, which my 11 year old son does not have!

    Because the additional 20% is from discounted price. Formula as below:

    100% - 20% = 80%

    20% x 80 % = 16%

    20 % + 16 % = 36 %

      Mainly the design. Some sets run up to $500+

      Some retired sets go for thousands of dollars

      There are people with stockpiles of lego in warehouses and storage units that they are sitting on hoping it'll increase in value.

      It's not just plastic. There's designers, QC, customer service, missing brick replacement guarantee, and very importantly, licencing costs to Disney, etc.

          Lego is about as expensive as any plastic hobby, whether it's Airfix or Gunpla, bigger and rarer = $$$. In terms of gross margin, the main offenders are probably GW or Funkopops.

        Thanks, but I still can't figure it out. I added it to my cart, went to cart, clicked Proceed to Checkout, and entered the CMYER code. None of those screens allow me to select Click & Collect. The only thing left to do is sign in to Paypal, but I don't want to commit if I'm going to be charged $10 shipping.           For my order, after clicking Proceed to Checkout, there's a section called "Review item and postage" showing all line items with thumbnail images.

          Underneath each individual line item, there're the postage options:

          • Standard delivery
          • Free instore pick up

          Just tested this with a single item and it's working for me.

    When I tries to perform checkout from paypal it keeps saying something went wrong and back into ebay.
    I have tried like 5 times now and none of it successfully check out.
    I logged into paypal and confirm none of the transaction went through though.
    Anyone experiencing the same issue?

      I finally got that work out, it is due to one of the item within the order.
      When I order them one by one I narrow down to a lego set that doesn't work for whatever reason.

    These sets are okay if you want small things..Really no big ticket items which seems pretty normal for eBay Myer…It's like when they can't shift the smaller stuff that put it on eBay hoping to sell it.

      and whats the deal with searching for myer lego? The jakku one listed above comes up in ebay search but not in myer store search?
