ALDI Bikemate Bicycle Floor Pump $29.99

90

I didn't think it was much of a bargain at first but in person it feels real sturdy (more so than the broken plastic one it is replacing, which cost the same).

  • What happens if you don't have a floor to put this on?

      You got a door?

The ground that you are standing on ?

    • Then you wont have a leg to stand on.

  • There is a very similar pump at Kmart for $15

    • +1

I had one of those, terribly cheap rubber tube thats both super weak (I blew mine out without tyres anywhere near pumped) and also cannot be removed/replaced.

      • So far so good for me. Will see how long it lasts

  • Easy high pressure pumping up to 11bar/160psi

You'd break your arms well before it got to 160 psi.

    • Yep most cheap pumps cant even do 50PSI so I doubt this claim

meh, i had last year model and can do that easy, 160 maybe not tho

If this has a wide barrel of 1" then you're looking at around 130lbs/60kgs to get to 160psi. A fair bit, but certainly not an arm breaking load unless you have severe osteoporosis.

  • I've got a similar craftwright bike pump from bunnings ~$22 that works very well.

  • ALDI regularly sells a similar bicycle pump for $14.99. What about this one is 'deluxe'?

    • No idea

    • Posh air.

  • whats a bicycle floor and why do you need to pump it.

    • Me: "Hey floor, you look a little wimpy."
Floor: "Don't mess with me man, I'm pumped!"

  • Reid sell a similar pump for $20. Not quite the same as the one I bought from them a few years ago. But that one was also cheap and is still pumping perfectly to 120psi. I don't see why this one would be any different.

    • I think Reid shut down their stores here in WA, I did consider them first.

      • Ah. Well that's disappointing for you sandgropers
