It runs every week, Sunday through to Sunday and all you need to do is visit Dendy Cinemas during the week of your birthday, show your ID and get your $1 ticket to the movies. Bring your friends and family for free mini popcorns all around!

Birthday Club $1 ticket is valid for one session per day only and must be during a birthday week. The $1 Birthday ticket can be used on each day during that birthday week, but only one ticket per day. A birthday week falls between the Sunday-to-Sunday. Valid ID with DOB required upon transaction and ticket collection. Over-the-counter offer only. Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer or for Premium and Lounge sessions. Not be used for Dendy Arts sessions or special events and preview screenings.

    Just called Jeremy at Portside Dendy who confirmed that membership is not required to use this offer. He rather advised me about the free membership offer they are running, I rarely see this gesture when I call people.

      Looks like no. I checked Palace Dendy Brighton, but that is a Palace chain cinema.

          It was an old adult cinema in the heart of Chinatown, seems they've killed it last year though.

    Just checked with Dendy (Canberra) yesterday and apparently the $1 birthday week deal has ended. No more cheap tickets during your birthday week.
