Socks That Won't Get Holes within Six Months

Anybody got any good recommendations for socks that I won't be finding holes in within six months? Are Holeproof hole proof? I don't know where to start.

I could've sworn I'd seen this discussed on the forums before but search wasn't giving me any luck.

    Have a price range?

Darn Tough, made in Vermont (USA), have a lifetime warranty. They are about $20-30 a pair.

    • That's certainly up the top of the price range, but I'm open to spending that much if they will be sticking with me for life.

I can definitely vouch for them. I made this review 2 years ago and still am wearing those socks without any holes or problems.

Bamboo socks from Target. I use these as a delivery driver who walks much more than an average person, in and out of trucks, up and down many stairs with heavy weights. These are the best by far!

business style socks or "whatever" socks?

I wear work boots or sneakers to my office job and always wear explorer socks. the pair Im wearing at the moment (which I wear very rarely are from the late 90s)

https://www.stockpile.com.au/products these are the best socks I've ever bought, found out about them on whirlpool

Used to trust holeproof but newer socks kept ripping and getting holes in them. I've had these socks for nearly two years now, and they are still holding up. I walk quite heavily on my heels, have orthotics, and do heaps of walking everyday as I don't have a car, and work in jobs where I am on my feet all the time.

The Holeproof explorer socks are good - wore a few years now, no holes.

Same here. Got some for work over 9 years ago with about 6 pairs. Getting thinner, but still going. Got some more a bit more recently (bargain from here) and they are also going strong. I wear them 5days a week all year for work and also on weekends during colder months.

Must depend where you get them from I suppose, the last time I went to get some they were alarmingly thin

Icebreaker sport socks; not the black (business looking) socks.

I buy hanes socks, they are thick and warm, long lasting. Hard to find in australia these days.

I am using these. Still going good after 4 years.

I was actually disappointed with their business shoes, for me the heels wore down in a week. They refused to refund me despite stating they would have held up
