I'm gonna hold out for a better graphics card, but man is this a great deal

      • Very decent deal, Amds are weaker than intel, but this is probably better in the long run, and it has 16GB of ram. It looks like a good deal and it would be able to do some light gaming as well, I say go for it

        • Thanks dude.

Typing this on a 2 year old Toshiba refurbished laptop. No problems with their refurbed laptops.

I bought one of these for my daughter with the 15% discount at the end of June. I think it has a new screen and the body of the unit is like new. My daughter says it performs well with her gaming applications.

  • Some extra specs:

    Price when released: $1199
    Screen size: 15.6in
    Weight: 2.2kg (stated)
Battery life: up to 7.4 hours (stated)

  • Did quite a bit of research and comparison with other deals on offer, bought one.
At this price point, it's a bargain, except for the absent of SSD, and the 5400rpm hdd, all others specs look fine for the purpose of my use which mainly just for work, no gaming at all.
Finger cross the battery will last as it claimed.
