  I don't have this model or brand. but having been looking for a soundbar in the last week, your essentially paying more just for the design. You'd expect for the RRP of $599 to be greater than 300w.
  
  I ended up going for this model at Binglee. $100 less than what jb sell for. at $299 for the sony, you basically get pretty much the same functionality as the samsung but with 300w power. only thing you don't get is the curve design. curve design would probably work well if you have a curve tv though.
