Fork? It was $1900 a few days ago.. US Monday to be exact it is now $2300s with no idea how it will go.. if you have or know of an assured guaranteed safe quick buy and quick sell method I am all ears but I don't want to get stuck empty handed with a bunch of bit coins when the price drops to negative zero.
bought my first part of a bitcoin when it hit $1900 on the weekend, and im up ~15% already. i think its still on track to keep going up, as are the various cryptocurrencies getting popular through name or mining method.
what does the fork actually mean?

naturally yes, they all do it and its becoming the norm. coinmama charge a bit extra, but i didnt have to take a selfie with my id or credit card like other sites. you can read up about why they do it, mostly to prevent money laundering and secure your id.
time to write my alibi for when my 50+ credit card applications go in simultaneously around the world.

All the exchanges have already moved to SegWit2 so fork will go through fine IMO and BTC will roughly double in value when that happens.
Can I mine Bitcoin with a GTX 1050 Ti. I have a work machine that has one in, that doesn't do much.
No point, you can buy proper hardware to mine it efficiently, if you want to mine for USD without the hassle, try merito, however you don't own the coins, you get paid out in USD.

Not a chance. I'm happy just mining a small amount of BTC each month to accumulate slowly.
Playing the markets is way too volatile for my liking.
