320 Finish Quantum Tablets 22c Each (20% off $89 = $71.50) @ KG Electronic eBay

170
COLLECTING

320 tablets of Finish Quantum for $89, less 20% off from the eBay "COLLECTING" coupon (supposed to be for 'select electronics' but this seller appears to be an electronics store selling Finish Quantum tablets.)

This ends up as $71.20 including delivery for 320 tablets - 22c a tablet.

Note, these are not the Quantum Max tablets which are the latest version of the Finish range, but rather Quantum tablets. I honestly don't know what the difference is though; if you look at the pack in a supermarket the difference listed is 'superior clean' on the tick-box chart.

  • 320 that is a lot ….

  • Curious.. how often do OzBargainers use their dishwasher?

    • +2

      daily

    • +6

Around once a day here, usually overnight to take advantage of off peak power. A true ozbargainer probably also uses it to cook their food at the same time as doing their dishes.

      • +4

        Sous vide!

      • Thing I don't like about using the dishwasher overnight is that you can't open the door afterwards.

        • Never have a problem opening my Miele… sounds like yours has a design flaw perhaps.

        • @DeedubMelbourne: I meant because you'll be asleep when the cycle finishes, so you open it the next morning and everything will still be wet.

If I start the cycle after dinner, the cycle will finish and I can open the door before I go to bed and it will be dry in the morning.

        • @coxymla:

Oh.. I see. OK in that case, again, a design fault with your dishwasher I'm sorry to say ;-) The stuff in my Miele is pretty much dry in the morning, apart from plastics sometimes.

        • @coxymla: my old Miele door was motorised and used to open by itself. Sadly it died after 7 years and repairs cost twice as much as a new cheaper model. That door doesn't open automatically after a cycle, and we found plates etc still wet…. Until switched from powder to Finish Quantum tablets - now it's as good or better than the old dishwasher….

    …and for what it's worth, Quantum Max - 320 for $75 (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-320-Finish-Quantum-Max-Powerb…)

    • C5OZ Code can be applied to this one for 5% discount, bringing it down to AU $71.25

I got upset at wasting $1.25 when I saw your reply, but then realised they don't deliver to Perth … I can sleep easy again ….

        • @spazmodik:
Last deal on dishwasher tabs, freight to WA was ridiculous expensive

        • @spazmodik: did you try buying from Boxlots and were unable to get shipping rate to Perth?

        • @spazmodik: did you try buying from Boxlots and were unable to get shipping rate to Perth?

        • @Wakko: Didnt need to. The original eBay link from @PlasticSpaceman included free delivery + my 5% off code, so I got them for $71.25

        • has anyone tried the Quantum Max Tablets "lemon sparkle" sold by Boxlot? Do the glasses, for example, taste or smell lemony after the wash? I was just wondering in case my food/drink would taste bitter due to the wash.

        • +1

@Zinger: Got a bunch, though not via boxlots. Assume the same. The lemon smell is very very faint. Think avagadros number & homeopathy. (https://www.homeowatch.org/basic/infinitesimals.html)

Basically, nah. They come out fine. Just like the ones that have baking soda don't make the plates taste like baking soda - it all gets washed off.

          @PlasticSpaceman:

Thanks Plastic Spaceman. I just ordered the $35 pack from Boxlots.

          Let's hope it's not a lemon

        • +1

@Zinger: Ah - living up to your name as well, I see. ;-)

          @spazmodik:
Ok. Boxlots shipping is free to NSW, Melbourne Queensland again - not just metro. Having issues with rate calculator so for a short while again they can't generate cost by post code so have kept it free for the whole state.

There are also a few discount codes sent out in the email:

10OFFOZ for 10% off site wide when you spend $50 or more.

        • +1

@Zinger: they won't taste bitter, but I do find the Finish fragrances to be a bit too strong for my liking. I go for the 'original' or 'power and pure' varieties as they have more subtle odours.

    • Bought them at $71.25, went halves with work mate.
Then saw this one, $55.20 delivered. Thoughts?
      http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/330-Tabs-Max-in-1-Lemon-Finish-Powe…

    • Bugger!! Just saw the post for 10% sitewide minimum $75 spend, using code 'PLENTY'
Could have got it for $67.50.

  • From what I understand Quantum max is now Quantum, and the new top product is quantum ultimate… so stores are getting rid of the old version.

(quantum ultimate has 2 extra 'features' compared to Quantum (max))

  • +1

Why wouldn't you just buy 2 x https://www.boxlots.com.au/products/4-pack-dishwashing-bundl…, which gives you 320 Quantum Max tablets for $70 delivered?

    • +3

Possibly if you lived outside of their limited delivery area.

    • Because they only sell the lemon odour. Which I find a bit strong…

  • If you don't need as many, 40x Quantum for $10 at The Reject Shop
