    Im an exisiting Amasysim prepaid customer. To take advantage of this deal do I need to first port over to another provider (maybe one of those $2 sim deals?) and then port back into amaysim using one of these vouchers. After the 6 months on this can I easily switch back to prepaid or would I need to port out/in again?

    As I didn't purchase yesterday due to their system glitching I now have the credit + this 10% off.

        Uncertain how. I contact support at 5:00 pm yesterday.

        I had issues applying it yesterday so they credited 15% of $78 to my account ($11.70).

    Be aware that your Oder summary will show jug+3 filters and not 4 filters as stated. I raised this concern with them and was provided a refund.

      There is a filter in the jug. They also send you a 3 filter pack

    How does the Amaysim deal work (thanks easternculture for letting me know its prepaid)

    I buy the voucher from Groupon, then what? I purchase a SIM card from Amaysim?

    Reason I ask is because my current recharge expires on 10th August while I am overseas, so I want to get on this deal (I don't mind to lose a few days while I am still on holiday), but if I do it after I come back it will be after the 17th so the voucher will be invalid

      Never mind I worked it out :)

      For others who want to take this deal but your prepaid hasn't expired

      1. Order Groupon deal
      2. Click link to Amaysim site from the Groupon voucher
      3. Enter all your details & click next
      4. Enter the promo code and your address
      5. Select credit card (voucher doesn't work)
      6. Complete the order
      7. Wait for your SIM to arrive
      8. When you are ready (before 17th August) log in and activate your SIM. Only now will your start date be effective - it will be 6 recharges from the date of SIM activation

    I'm already with Amaysim on post paid month to month. Can I get this deal?

    Would the following work?

    1. Buy the Groupon deal
    2. Buy free Telstra SIM online
    3. After Telstra SIM arrives, transfer number to Telstra
    4. Sign up to Amaysim with groupon deal code and transfer number back to Amaysim

    If I sign up to Telstra do I need to sign up for a plan or go pre-paid or can I just transfer the number across to Telstra? And would Amaysim treat me as a new customer wven though I was with previously?

      Yes, it will work and Amaysim will consider you as a new customer.

      Completing the above steps will be a very professional thing to do as a OzBargainer. I believe quite a few in here rinse and repeat this similar process every month.

When I activate the Telstra sim and transfer my number to them at the same time, do I then need to sign up for a pre-paid plan with Telstra? Are the options here - https://www.telstra.com.au/mobile-phones/prepaid-mobiles/off… ? Looks like the minimum would be to get the $1 day-to-day plan but would I would need to pay $5 as this is the minimum recharge. Is this correct or is there someway I can transfer to Telstra without costing me anything?

          And then can I transfer back to Amaysim as soon as the service is active with Telstra?

          @Rodo: During sign up with those free sims, you are simply "selecting" a plan to activate on - they don't force you start using it right away, which means you don't have to load any credit on it until you decide to.
