    • Just ring Amex.

They are amazingly obliging with regard to matters like this.

This week I spent $40 on fuel forgetting I had 10c off on the Flybuys card so ended up at $36 odd spend.

Rang Amex, credit loaded manually by the operator, no problem whatsoever.

Wish all call centres provided the same service Amex do.

      Very well trained operators.

      • I agree with your experienced. I think that they have been trained to say "Yes" :)

    • +1

For the record, in my experience, a partial refund is not a reversal, and you get to keep the statement credit. Of course, there's always the possibility that may have changed.

      • I've had full refunds in the past and still received the credit. YMMV

      • I agree as I have never had a credit taken back for a partial refund.

  • I got both Coles Express and the Harris Farm. To be honest, I would not have shopped online in Harris Farm if this was not there. Just bought a bunch of stuff. I am hoping to get the $50 back. There was no delivery fee. I bought the following. These should last for a week and half with oil lasting for month and more.

Water Melon Seedless - Cut qtr (each) - 1
    Pineapple Sweet Topless (half) -1
    Papaya (half) Red - 1
    Cherries (250g punnet) -1
Colavita Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1l -2
    Chicken - Thigh Fillet (500g-600g) Cordina -1
    Chicken - Drumstick Fillet (300-400g) -2
    Potatoes Brushed (4kg bag) -1
    Villa Sunflower Oil 3l -1
    Zucchini Flowers (200g) -2
    Pumpkin Butternut Cut (half) -2
    Peas Snap (min 150g) -1
    Melon Bitter (whole) -1
    Cucumber Green (each) -1
    Coriander (bunch) -1
    Cabbage (qtr) -1
    Strawberries Large (250g punnet) -1
    Limes (each) -1
    Kiwifruit Gold (each) -10

  • For Harris Farm fresh(?) meat and poultry, check closely the 'best before' dates. They delivered some expensive organic chicken to me that had well and truly expired. Very annoyed. They apologised, offered me a refund/replacement & said that their policy for pack meat is to have at least 4 days shelf life left on it.

    • That is very not nice by the store. I will be careful next time.

  • I bought giftcards at Coles Express using split payments.

Bought on Friday, a lot of $10 credits in my account now (Monday). However, I didn't receive an e-mail confirming the purchases.

No confirm emails here either … amex website is showing offer has been redeemed … waiting for the credits.

  • no issues with gift card at coles express and getting the credit.

  • Coles at George Street near apple store and wynyard are coles central not express according to the staff.
Anyone bought from them and get the cash back?

    • +1

      Correct.

      That one is a "Central"

  • The new AMEX site no longer works with bank issued Amex ?

    • It works. You have to type your card number in manually. If you have an ANZ issued Amex, they are no longer valid as of today.

  • Is the Amex offer still available? I can't see it to enrol and there doesn't seem to be a manual enrollment link anywhere.

  • I just noticed extra points with android pay for velocity

Be careful of Harris farm partial refund (missing items or adjustments). Until I found out and called them, they put the refund on hold because of some AMEX promo stuff. Dodgy business.

    • dnt think that is dodgy. wt they trying to ensure is that if ur refund amount results in your spend being below$120 then amex may reverse the $50 credit statement. there are 2 ways to get a refund A. back on ur card, bt if that results in ur spend being less than 120 then amx hv the right to reverse the the stmnt credit, but they usually don't?
      B. get a GV and get stuck with it unless u planning to order again jus so as u r able to use the GV. m stuck with a $15 voucher which i'll probably list on classifieds.

COLES EXPRESS:"Spend $40 or more, get $10 back.".

You can buy a gift card, it works. You can still get $10 credit back.

    • What gift cards do Coles express sell?

      • So many, as Event Cinema, Coles giftcard, Vanilla Visa, JB-Hifi, etc…

  • Coles Express offer: If using an amex card through apple pay, will it still qualify for the $10 credit?

    • +1

      Yes

      • thanks, that was a fast response

  • Reporting from Coles Express Woolloomooloo - bought Coles myer GC for $160 split onto 4 cards.
Spend was made ystdy arvo - still no sign of email and the offer is also nt marked as redeemed.
Will wait for couple of days before I hit the chat button. Anyone else had a similiar expernc?

    • Spent $40 to test the waters… pending transaction shows Coles Express but has an asterix next to the amount.

      • Final charged amount may change for certain transactions including Fuel, Lodging and Internet purchases.

      No email received immediately.
@maverick1 Have you got your email or credit yet?

      • yes mate - got the email and the credit..nothing to worry about. I had the exact same thing with asterix on the amount.
