I own Bayonetta on disk. I REALLY wanted to like it, but I found it boring. Should have sold it. i guess that disk is now worth nothing.

    • I sold the PS3 version for $11 on eBay, so, not bad.

      • I meant since it's now a games with gold game, most people who want it for 360 or One will now have it.

        • +3

Don't sell it now, wait until it's off Gold, and those who didn't add it to their library or without Gold, still won't have it. I sold 3 games that were previously on Gold recently, all sold for around the $10-$15 mark.

        • @justmiike:

Thanks for the tip. This is definitely one I don't care much if I lose so digital download is fine. Disk is of no use.

      • $11 minus fees for the time and effort involved is pretty bad.

        • +1

Yeah, it's not great, but if you're selling 1 game, not worth it. I had 15 to sell, so $200 after fees is better than collecting dust.

  • Noob question: what does it mean "avai from Aug 1-15"? So after 15th Aug can I still play it?

    • +2

Can still play it but can't 'claim' it. So claim it during that time, play it while you have Xbox Live Gold

    • +4

Yup as Spack said, you must add the title into your library within its available window, after that:

      • If it's a 360 title, the title is playable even if your Xbox live gold finishes.

      • If it's a One title, you can only play it as long as you have a gold subscription.

Honestly, this answer should be pinned somewhere. The amount of people that ask about this is astronomical.

        • I know right, it's almost a default comment to post in the new games with gold deal posting.

Lost my disc for trials fusion during a move. This is awesome (Y)

  • This is BS. I literally just bought slime rancher for my son yesterday.

I'm guessing MS wouldn't refund it would they

    • Depending on your refund history they probably will. I've seen people get the difference back when a game goes on sale shortly after they've bought it, I've had a full game refund in the past. MS support are really good with these kind of things from my experience. Worth jumping on live chat and asking.

      • if its within 24 hrs of purchase
        or
you havnt downloaded it yet then they possibly mght.

if u have played it or had it a while very little chance

  • Good month. I wonder if they're going to make splintery cell backwards compatible soon. Apparently they released news of it being bc and then quickly removed it.

    • Slime Rancher is up now as well.

  • so here's a question for fellas in the know

my xb gold recently expired but i have a few trials so im using those, im currently using a 14 day gold trial, that's fine and it counts as gold, i can play all my gold games and download slime rancher no worries, but the 360 games (bayonetta) will only let me buy it for $30, according to the x360 storefront, i dont have gold, whereas it's fine for xb1

anyone else had this prob/know a workaround?

    • A 14 day trial doesn't make you a Gold member. You need at least a 1 month membership to be 'Gold'.

      • yeah ive read that online but it's clearly not quite correct since i already downloaded slime rancher and cobalt for free just now, so it is enough for xbox one games but not for 360 for some reason

        • +1

a 14 day trial doesn't technically count as proper Gold.

For "proper" Gold, you need a bank card. That's the big difference.

A one month trial for example, which requires a bank card, is "proper" Gold, which in turn will net you the 360 games to keep forever.

Kind of confusing and there's a million explanations out there, it's just a little dumb really. Anyway, to put it basically, to get the 360 games you either need a trial that requires a bank card, or you need to be an actual member.

Hope I made that clear enough.
