Current price on your website is $177.27?
    Edit: seems like excl. GST

  • Your HP 256GB M.2 SOLID STATE DRIVE J2V74AA is really cheap, even cheaper then the 180GB one.

1 year warranty and there is no mention MLC/TLC technology.

    • Yes, same observation. Enterprise HDD 1 year warranty. Hummm no thanks.

Says MLC in that. Searched for it and seems to go for US $375! Seems quite slow (maybe for the purpose that doesn't matter), but yes why only 1 year warranty?

Thought it might be good for a silent PVR drive. Went through checkout. Got free shipping so registered, then find its $25! For an SSD.

    • Sorry warranty is 2 years warranty, there has been a typo on our website, will fix it to 2 years.

      • Ok, if it was free or cheap shipping I'd buy. I don't even mind Aust Post (in fact I'd prefer it).

        • Is free ship before you register and once you register you get $25 delivery charge, bit steep

        • Yes, but they use DHL, that's why. I get things like SSD's couriered or Aust. Post'ed to me for $12-15

  • With SSD it's more about write cycles than yrs warranty especially in servers.

  • It's Micron 20nm MLC NAND with a Marvell 9187 controller, which is also used by LiteOn and OCZ in their enterprise model.

This thing was designed for read intensive datacenter use and (according to spec sheet) should be able to handle 2DWPD for 5 years with a TBW limit at 1.9PB.

  • I bought one it showed $220.24 in the Paypal credit card checkout. There is no mention of credit card fees on the site or terms & conditions. Charge was $225.51! Seems there is an unmentioned 2.4% fee. Not good practise.

    • Hi,

we do not charge any credit card fees, that is something you will have to take up with PayPal.

      • It's ok, now it's showing the $220.24. Don't know what happened there.
