    Great game.

  • So how does EA access work? you can keep the game forever or while the subscription is active?

    • +1

Only while the subscription is active

  • Where to buy a FA subscription for $30 ?

    • +1

Some places you can get it and it costs FA

      • Cheapest I can find is $33.99

        • @ CD keys, so take off 5% for a Facebook like and it would be $32.

Depends what sales are on :)

  • I feel like an (profanity).

One of the things I wanted most after Titanfall 1 was a campaign. They made one for the sequel, it was very well received, and yet, I can't pull myself out of the multiplayer to enjoy it. I've had the game for ever.

Ironically EA Access would be what would make me do it. On PS4 I can't get myself out of the multiplayer, but I don't currently have Gold, so if I want my TF2 fix on the 'Bone, SP it is.

    • Should've played the campaign prior to multiplayer!
But you really should play Titanfall2 campaign. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

      • I really wanted to!

I'm definitely going to get around to it when I get the time, but the MP is just so insanely fun to me (same goes still for number 1 though), I try to play SP but then I'm like GRAPPLING HOOK MACHINE GUN QUICK SCOPE KABOOM!

        • I feel ya.
I also made the mistake of playing Titanfall2 before trying out the old school Halo games (just recently bought the MC collection and Halo 5).

Wow, I couldn't handle how slow everything moved in comparison.

Titanfall 2 MP is just so in your face and GO GO GO.

  • Bought it. Never installed it. I should install it. But with the powerful hold Plunkbat has over me atm I wouldn't play it :|

Titanfall 2 from what Ive seen repeated the same mistakes and flaws from Titanfall 1

Using p2p and Microsoft Azure Cloud servers instead of standalone dedicated servers (not cloud)
    No rental servers
No active admins to combat cheating/boosting/hacking
    Overpowered smart pistol
TINY player count on servers filled with useless CPU AI bots
After a few weeks legit players give up after never finding match's

Titanfall 1 on PC died from what I saw in Australia after 3-5 weeks of PC retail launch

    • +1

Only someone who hasn't played would say this.

        • #2 are actually a good thing, Titanfall 2 is not suited to custom game servers and we don't need crazy admins. Its not needed.

The game works better then any dedicated server gmae with the cloud servers, not all games would suit this though.

      1. is not an issue like it was in Titanfall 1.

      2. .. I don't even know what to say besides you are completely wrong. Never had a game with bots.

      3. The game has been out for a long time, nobody is going to be leaving at this point.

    • FWIW I can find local games on most nights up to 10pm or 11pm (or midnight on weekends)

if you are willing to play on Singapore/Tokyo servers, you could get games there up to 2am or 3am

PS I am playing on PC

  • Isn't it an announcement rather than a deal?

    • True.

Though, a few updates ago, EA Access games are no longer in the ready to download section on the Xbox and can only be got directly from their stupid app. So though it doesn't need to be put up on OzB, a lot of people might otherwise miss it, but yeah, I feel you.

  • This is an amazing game, and going to Access will hopefully help with the low PC numbers in the AU region. The Frontier Defense update just came out and is a lot of fun. I would recommend playing the campaign before playing Multiplayer if you're new to the franchise. Matchmaking can be frustrating and you will lose a lot of matches at first because a lot of the people still playing have been playing for a while.
