Free for a limited time as part of the "On the House" program. I think this can be added to your account even if you do not own Battlefield 4 yet - it worked for me and it worked for previous DLC. You might as well get it as it is free, just in case you ever get Battlefield 4.

Thanks op but waste of time. Unless you have all of the expansion packs this is no good to you. On pc the cervers for bf4 at this point are either classic (no dlc) or all the dlc in rotation.

There's currently only 2-3 populated 64 players servers in Australia. One of them is original maps, one is all DLC maps, which I assume that you can't play on unless you own all DLC maps, and the last one is 24/7 operation metro.
That might change. Also, if DLC has any single player benefits, then it is worthwhile getting. And of course, free is free.
Waiting for Second Assault DLC to be free… (again) on XBL. Did not have XBone last time.
