Dos Equis XX Slabs- $30 at BWS (Save $20!)

260

Woah… Just doing my weekly Boozle check and found this!

Not the greatest beer ever, but for 30 bucks… definitely great value. Normally goes for $50 at Dan's and everywhere else.

  • Never tried it, but i'm not too fussy with beer… and for $30 :)
I sometimes think of the days gone by when Draught use to be sub $30 a slab :(

Ah, reminds me of when I used to live in Texas - a good dependable Mexican Beer. Definitely getting on board this bargain; many thanks OP!

I like this better than Corona for sure.

  • Great beer!!! I paid $35.00 last week at BWS and thought that was a bargain!

Good find for people trying to be more interesting.

  • Great deal! Cheers

  • Awesome find; cheers!

  • $30 for 24 beers is a bargain by Australian standards. Only one minor problem.. the beer is pretty average !

the dark version is much nicer, in my opinion.

  • Had it before and thought it was good, will have to pick some up. thanks OP

  • Would never neg the best beer on the planet (brings back sweet memories of Mexico) but the beer is best before 22/10/10 (well the ones in WA)
Not sure if this is an issue, still reckon the cartons would last you until Christmas…

    • I personally have had bad experiences with expired beer. Expired by 2 months, so you could probably risk this if you drink it by the end of November.

      • im pretty sure expired beere gave me some pretty seedy hangovers, worse than normal.

    • are ALL the ones in WA like that?

  • Available at ALL BWS in Australia for $30.

    Not just Victoria.

  • Thank you O.P. getting up early to stock up for the weekend!!!!!

P.S. tastes like piss but I luv it :)

  • how do you pronounce the name btw?

    • +1

      I'm pretty sure it's pronounced DOS EH-KEES.

  • Hi everyone.
It is a great deal but I had to buy for $35 at Kensington SA.
They said it is their sale price.
Can anyone confirm that SA has this stuff for $35.

  • I just called another BWS store in North Adelaide SA.
    They confirmed it is $35.
why SA has higher prices most of the time ?
if it is the cost of transportation then why WA has it for $30 ?

    • This was listed on Boozle yesterday as $30, at BWS all over SA…..

      • it is still listed at $30 at Boozle, but they said it was incorrect.

        • now showing as $35 for me…..

    • The only thing reason I can think of is the tax on bottle return in SA. Most canned soft drinks are also more expensive for this reason

      • No.

It was $35 per case at Ettalong, NSW (Postcode#: 2257).

BWS obviously made a mistake and have now put the price up, to $35.

  • NOW GONE UP TO $35 PER CASE!

    No longer $30 per case.

  • Damn wish there was a bws near me

  • went to BWS, at O'Halloran hill (SA), guy said it was $50… no discount
