3 month code probably won't arrive due to conditions, additional months offer not valid in Australia.
Works on Google Home? With Pandora gone, and Spotify not supporting radio on the Home, I'm feeling kinda displaced. Like a dog, like a mongrel. Need to fill the void.

I thought it was only for YouTube red. I just signed up and indeed I now have access to Google music as well. You sir are a scholar and a gentleman.
They are both basically the same thing actually. Having Google Play music automatically enables Yt Red, and vice versa. It also enhances YouTube Music, which is already free to use but it removes all the annoying pre roll ads.
Google plans to basically unify it now, because having two products of the same type confuses people.

Try iHeartRadio. It's free, aussie based, ad free and works very similarly to Pandora radio. Their Android app is excellent.

Yeah i receive a code too and just claimed it. Subscription now expires on 03/12/2017. Full 4 months for free including the 1 month trail period, the code stacks on top of the trial period.
