    • -1

      Nope. Far from it.

      • thanks, might give it a miss then….although sounds very cheap….

These are instant sachets of pre-mixed coffee/flavourings/some sort of milk powder product that you simply pour into mug along with hot water. They taste pretty good though - atleast that one I've tried such as the Capp, Mocha!

      • thanks…might try a 10-pack then…:)

  • Hi OP, Great deal! Shouldn't the expiry date be 15 Aug instead of 8 Sep?

    • Good point :) Updated

  • Thanks for the updating. :)

  • Only in NSW, VIC & QLD?

  • Was going to try this the other day but forgot my voucher at home
Good hack as it does say only for full priced items

  • +2

These are normally over $5, $3 is cheap already, but $1.62 is amazing!!!

  • Yes, the barcode only works in NSW, Vic and Qld.

  • will it work if i just print the jpg file?

    • Yes :)

You could also bring up the JPEG on your phone and scan the barcode that way.

      • thanks, will give it a try tonight :)

I got this voucher along with some free samples at Townhall station two weeks ago.

  • Looks like the barcode is generic. Got the free sachet samples from Southern Cross a couple weeks ago..
Not fussed with the quality. They were free after all…

    Tried and failed in WA.

Reminds me of the free cereal a couple of years back

  • Unlucky for me,I don't drink coffee and all the mocha is gone so just bought 1 latte.

Thanks op, just scanned it from my phone at Woolworths chatswood and it did a $1.68 deduction off the half price sale price. Incredibly cheap considering the original price. Pity it's only one pack per transaction. Thanks.

    • +3

You can buy multiple packs per transaction with multiple scans, for example, if you buy 6 packs, just scan 6 times. :)

  • Chatswood has capp, strong cap and caramel in stock

  • Thanks OP, confirm working, opened link and scanned off phone at woolworths

Worked a treat. Got 10, planning to get more but don't want to walk…

  • Fairfield Heights Woolworths has heaps and more in boxes. Bought 16 packs. Just had to wait for those coupon print outs after the receipt. Haha.

  • +2

My scan didn't go thru so the gentleman there manually put it in , got latte for $1.62 and the mocha went thru for 1c saying "Nescafe mixer offer " next to it - $1.63 for 2 boxes !

  • +3

Bought 27 boxes in the one transaction
Was already planing on buying 10ish on the weekend 👍

  • these should be called 'hot coffee drinks'. they are full of sugar, creamer, etc…

    • The sugar content isn't that high.

      • Almost 10 grams=2.5 teaspoons per sachet and you are saying it's not that high…

  • Has anyone tried the coconut?

    • Nothing like the coconut coffee of Thailand, Bali etc. Very very sweet.

    • +1

I just tried one. Absolutely vile. I poured it down the sink.

Interesting side fact: the image you took of the barcode contains enough metadata that I know it was taken with an iPad at your home address in Campsie NSW.
Not that the information is useful to anybody on this occasion but something to think about.

    • Off topic, but how do you find that information out? What do you need to open an image in? Curious about this in general.

On topic, tried this on my phone in Qld and it was a great success 😉. Thanks!

      • I saved the image to my tablet, then opened it in Google Photos and clicked Info. Most images taken with a mobile device include the coordinates in the file. Photos shows them on a map.

    • :-o

    • iPad takes pretty crappy photos by the looks of it…..

    • That is very interesting, You can see their exact location.
Can you clear the metadata or should you use some scanning software instead like scannable?

      • I've not looked into it. I assume you would be able to remove it from somewhere within an image viewer.
I'm pretty sure saving location metadata is optional in the camera settings.

  • Thanks for this one. Just went and purchased 7 boxes - total savings nearly $35!

  • Ty will try today Yay!!

  • Didn't work for me… :(

This was at the Woolies Metro store at Southern Cross btw…

    • +1

Doesn't work for me scanning but manually entering numbers works

      • Just tried at another Woolies store (not Metro) and the barcode worked a treat!

Got one of every flavour! Thanks OP! ☺☺☺

    • +1

Got it for 1c from the same store. Get them to manually enter the code. It should go through !

  • Thanks OP. Barcode worked at Sunshine VIC at 11:30

  • Thanks, worked at Glenhuntly, Vic. Heaps still left.

  • +1

Worked for me in the ACT.

  • If you read the terms and conditions you aren't supposed to use a photocopy or scanned copy and 1 per voucher. But it worked for me. Thanks so much as I wanted to try the Decaf as hubby's decaf coffee gives me a headache.

  • Thanks OP.

Worked For Me @ Both Loganholme & Beenleigh Qld.

  • Thank you, just bought 24 packs @ $1.68 at Wolli Creek !

  • +1

Thanks OP, worked for me today at about 3pm. I zoomed in on the picture using my phone and it scanned straight from my phone.

    • dunno why when i tried it on mine phone it didnt scan…I got a LG V20…

      • A good zoom and maximum brightness can help, but if that still doesn't work it may mean the scanner at your local Woolworths uses a technology that can't read from a phone screen unfortunately. Someone mentioned you can still manually enter the barcode but I'm not sure if a store employee needs to do that for you.

        • thanks glad to know it's not my phone… :)
In the end I had to print it out… lol

  • THanks OP. So at the self checkout, do you scan the product first then this promo barcode? Or just this promo barcode?

  • +1

Yes, scan the product first then the promo barcode.

    • Cheers.

  • Tried it today at central station (Sydney) and it didn't work :(

    • Is it a Woolies Metro store?
The barcode doesn't seem to work at Metro stores…

      • Yea it is! No wonder it didn't work

  • Tried @ Craigieburn,VIC on Friday night and Chadstone VIC last night, both worked like a charm. Plenty of stock left too.

  • Thanks.. worked.

  • Cheers, got some caramel latte and mocha sachets to try out :)

  • Woolies at Westfield Liverpool and Bonnyrigg had no more stock of the cappuccino or strong cappuccino ones :(

  • +1

Worked here in the ACT and I stocked up very nicely….might even go for another trip to Woollies tomorrow

We purchased these today 11 boxes in total. The first time hubby tried to scan the voucher it didnt work so he manually entered it. He bought 1 pack and then came home because it was going to suck entering the numbers in every time (the woolies worker had to enter it) BUT we returned the next day both of us planning to buy a couple each (entering manually). He bought his and i went to go buy mine but instead of scanning the whole pic I zoomed in on the barcode so it took up most of my phone screen. It beeped and scanned perfectly! We continued to scan a box then the barcode for all the boxes we purchased (in one transaction). If its not working for you try to enlarge the barcode. Works Brisbane Woolies for all the flavours, Sweet Cappuccino,Strong cappuccino, Latte, Mocha, Coconut, Chai coffee, Hazelnut, Caramel, Vanilla.

    • Oo caramel, missed that one. :( Do they make a hot chocolate variety?

  • Wasn't able to be use this through self-scanners (weren't in operation) but the checkout lady was happy enough to swipe my phone with each item.

  • Checkout lady at Woolworths Stud Park (Vic) told me "Sir, you can't do that, it's a scam."
I asked her why the checkout let me do it if it's a scam, she said "That doesn't matter, it's a scam, you can't do that".

Gee thanks lady. Now I have to find another Woolies!

    • scam? i would say epic cockup

  • Staff at Woolworths Canterbury Gardens (VIC) did the same thing to me. Said the offer was not legitimate and took the coffee sachet box from me after I scanned successfully.

  • I think this can now be marked as expired….price is back to $5 a pack (so $2.5 assuming the barcode still works)

  • Wonder if it works at Coles. Half price over there now

    • Please let me know…. I missed out! :-(

  • Don't forget to place the empty sachets to your nearest RedCycle bin.
