If you are coming from Madagascar I'd imagine your only option is plane.

  • Public transport if you can't drive? I imagine Uber would become expensive pretty fast.

    • 40 mins to get there, I think it will cost around $70, so $140 in return, quite expensive… :/

  • You can walk there if you want, it's free!

    • Everywhere is within walking distance if you are prepared to walk far enough (and maybe get wet…).

Ashcombe Maze is a great place to visit with forest trails, 3 mazes and great views. http://ashcombemaze.com.au/ (30 mins from Frankston Station/1.5hrs from Melbourne via Train).

Only 5-10mins from Melbourne Airport is Peppercorn Equestrian Centre; http://www.peppercornequestriancentre.com.au/new/index.html email: [email protected] there will be horse riding here.

Ice Skating is only 5-10mins walk from Melbourne CBD https://www.obriengrouparena.com.au/ and is great.

Public Transport in Melbourne is quite good, Uber is another option and lots of places to stay with Air BnB and hotels.

    • Well, other than from the airport!

    • Thank you, I still prefer the peninsula hotspring and horse riding :D Sadly, I have never been to MEL while I have been living in Aust for seven years.

      • There's really nothing special about the airport. You're not missing out!

      • I've been living in Australia for 30 years and never been to Sydney. It's on the list though.

        • @super kami dende It's okay, Syd is not really worth to visit LOL

    • The ice skating is also free by public transport if you take trams =)

      • Hello, I wanna ski, not ice-skating LOL

        • Your original post said "ice skiing" so you this is why "ice skating" has been suggested. It's either "skiing" or "ice skating", not a combination of both. =)

        • @jjjaar:Thanks for your correction and sorry for my broken English…

  • I have a spare* bed you can stay for free.

  • What the fluff is a tree adventure?

    Where are you coming from?

  • All the things you've listed are a bitch to get to if you can't drive. You'll either have to take cabs, hitch-hike, make a friend who can drive or if you're brace enough, ride a push bike for hours along 100k roads to get there. Or another option is taking public transport as close as you can to the destination and then get a cab from there.
The tree surfing is pretty cool, never actually been to the hot springs myself, but everyone I know who's been there says it's amazing.
Are you staying in Melbourne, or on the peninsula?

    • Planning to stay in Mel. Yes, my frd is moving to MEL, hopefully this month, and I finally can find someone to go with :D

  • Will be really hard to get to those places without a car because the attractions are all far apart from each other. f you understand Chinese maybe join those Asian tours? I have seen some tour buses at the hot springs before.

    • I know :/ But that doesn't include horse riding.. badly.. Maybe Chinese do not like riding horses.
