It's tough being a hairy ethnic, feel like I'm just evening out the debilitating cost of razors by looking for bargains on here.
Wouldn't buy Razer again for any of my gaming peripherals ever again. Poor quality and over priced. The cables of my Razer Black Widow just deteriorated for no reason, had to duct tape it to prevent it breaking. The Mamba mouse rubber coating came off under 1 year of use and the plastic scratches with even the most gentle cloth. Complete rubbish
I advise people not to touch their product even with a ten foot pole.

My Razer Taipan is still going strong after ~5 years of abuse, has been dropped on hard surfaces and had numerous beverages spilt on it. My friends have had similar experiences with their Razer products. Sounds like you just got unlucky.

Wouldn't touch another Razer product again. Terrible qualtiy and very pricey. I've had far too many faulty products from them it's not even funny, or maybe I'm just a very unlucky bloke.

Love my deathadder. Had it for probably 2 years now and it is as good as ever. Definitely a good price for it.
razer warranty is stuffed
Another happy Razer user here. I've had an Ouroboros mouse for nearly 3 years that I use daily at work, and it's never given me any trouble (except needing a replacement battery after close to two years).
Got nothing but good things to say about Razer build quality. Don't know what other people do to their products but my keyboard and mouse are 3 years old and still look and perform like brand new.
I think the pre-2013 products had better quality control. My 2012 (purchased in 2011) Mamba is running as new. my friends have been though many mice since then.

I'm not 100% sure, I just went to Plympton store and it was put through at the discounted price. I've noticed they've updated the prices on their website now though so you could probably buy online.

Terrible quality, broken 3+ Deathadders + a Mamba with what I'd consider to be fairly low abuse. The tabs under the outer shell that perform the actual clicking snap incredibly easily.
Blackwidow Ultimate and a Deathadder Chroma have been holding up strong.
People who are breaking them almost certainly either abuse them, or game for 12+ hours a day.
