I am surprised that "genuine" Tiffany & Co products are on Catch of the Day, or being sold anywhere outside of their retail stores.

    Suggest to proceed with caution.

    • -2

Not a chance that this is genuine whatsoever

  • -1

Not genuine, the real one sells for $635 and has a diamond/jewel in the centre: https://goo.gl/m6SjmU

Amazed that COTD would sell obvious fakes.

    • +2

Isn't the $330 one without the jewel? Refer to OPs post…

      • +1

You're right, I did search the Tiffany website and only found the one with the jewel.

        Apologies to the OP.

      • Tiffany sell plain ones without a jewel. See link in op

  • Most likely to be fake. You have no idea how good China are at counterfeits.

  • I think cotd will not selling fake. At least they will respond and refund. They are Australian well known retailer.

    • +4

They actually sell lots of counterfeit goods, plenty of threads on ozb about it

  • +1 for the possible fake, or at least kinda dodgy.. While Tiffany & Co does appear to sell that jewellery a quick search for the model number listed on the COTD eBay page brings up a lot of results from what appears to be bulk buying sites in Japan (rakuten.co.jp?) so most likely best case is they're grey-imported.

    • +2

Probably grey imports. They sell for far cheaper in the US.

Not sure Catch would risk selling fakes although they could be duped by their supplier.

I've bought 2 pieces for my wife from Tiffany USA and had them shipped over. I'd recommend that as the safer option.

      • COTD sell various known counterfeit items

        • +2

Care to tell me some examples? I rarely buy from them but would be good to know.

        • @Hellfire:
I've seen various discussions on here about it, by memory ASICS shoes, Levi jeans, would probably find more by searching about it.
Also my 2 cents - when has Tiffany & Co ever provided a site with stock to sell cheaper than their store, it just isn't their business model or target market, it tarnishes the product and diminishes its value.

          @jamestownfx:

Both those seem to have been confirmed as authentic (unless I found the wrong threads).

  • There is no way to identify they are genuine or not.

My brother in Taiwan buys these to sell in his souvenir shop at half the price.

Where he sourced it is directly from the factory.
So would you call that fake or real?

  • +2

Not sure what my wife gonna think when she hears I bought it from catch of the day

  • If it is legit isn't this the luce pendant RRP: $870?

    • +1

They're available in different sizes. That's the large price you're quoting. There's a medium. The Catch one is a tiny 2cms @ RRP $330.

      • Ah yes i can see now on the US store they have a mini one for $200 USD which fits the description

  • COTD don't care about selling fakes…they will happily refund you and plead ignorance. As long as someone doesn't make an official complaint to the right govt department they don't care.

Emailed Tiffany and Co.. only just received this response..
