Jet Office Chair (Blue) $69.00 Was $99.00 at Officeworks

80

Apparently this is the new regular price, but then it also says it's a clearance item?? Anyways seems like a good price for an above-average chair. Comes in other colours also. Enjoy peeps

even after this discount its still quite overpriced, you can get decent chairs from Ikea for this price.

    Enjoy peeps

Unless the chair is a massage chair, you can't enjoy it.

  • for an above-average chair

According to my doctor they used to be very good but now they wear out in a year or so.

Fair enough, I just meant compared to the junk from kmart and other places, they may look the same but on closer inspection they aren't all the same, and these are a step above the usual cheap single-lever chairs

Don't forget to price match at… oh wait.

This chair is bloody excellent for the price. I have the exact one from Officeworks and I can confidently say that it's quite comfortable :)

I use it for my second gaming PC setup.

I have bought Pago Neo series from OW, I paid $200 for one about few years ago. I have to say they are one of the most budget-focused office chairs for homes. Very comfortable and does not get too hot in the summer. As compared to chairs you buy from other places, I think $69 is good for the product, but it is still important consider the posture you have when doing paperworks at home.

If you buy a good chair, it should last you ages, your health is more important than anything else.

    • How's your's holding up? I just bought the $199 Pago Matrix 3 lever which looks pretty much the same as the older Neo Deluxe. It was easily the best chair at OW, even beating out the $300+ chairs. How's the seat foam on yours? Has it sunk at all? I guess if it flattens in a few years I should be able to get a replacement with the 5 year warranty. The only complaint I have atm is it's kinda noisy but that's to be expected with the metal on metal contact from the seat tilt/back tilt.

  • Someone forgot to put arm rests on the chair!

    • they are the emperors new arm rest.

    • They are an extra $45…

Jokes aside, I couldn't sit in a chair without arm rests. Just the way I sit I guess, I'd end up getting sore shoulders

I have an old similar model one (prob the same, just rebranded over the years) and it definitely punches above it's weight. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles but it's well padded, has the main 3 adjustments (I forget the technical names lol) and I've actually found the height adjustment goes further than really expensive chairs I've used.
This actually mattered as in my attempt to replace it, paid a bit more for a mesh-back chair from Officeworks that was on clearance but still a higher price; my chance to get a decent chair like work I thought to make it feel like an upgrade (… nope).

Sat on one of these at OW recently, it's easily the best chair under $140 in the store. While the $149 and $199 Pago Matrix chairs are noticeably better, this would be great if you don't want to spend the extra cash or need a secondary chair that isn't used as often.

  • Can anyone help compare with this one? $10 bucks more than the post. TA https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/malmo-chai…
