  • how bad are these compared to TM lewin? (Currently wear the tm lewin super fitted John Francomb ones as most shirts are designed for balloon people!)

    Are they ok cut/quality?

    • I find the polyester blends feel like plastic bags and the cotton feels like polyester. I got a whole bunch on the sweet $5 sale ages ago and threw them all out in the end. Very sad.

      • And yeah, TM Lewin are designed for people that eat a lot of burgers. I couldn't believe how much they hung off me! A bargain is a bargain but it's gonna cost a lot of money in food to fit those shirts! Vinnies wins again.

          +1 to this.

Taro Cash / Yd, etc are much better for fit, lean, muscular shapes. The slim fit shirts have darts.

TM Lewin are made for round shoulders and man guts as you've indicated. It's poor actually, they have slim fits but they're the same fit. Slim fit should be take in around the waist with darts.

  • Thanks for the warning! I'll stick with my $40 special TM lewins, as they breath nicely and are just a PITA to iron compared to poly shirts!

Don't know what you mean about TML's being for big people, their fitted's are the only shirts I've found from anyone I've worn that don't hang, except an old next shirt before they changed their design to baggy!) Although I think their normal shirts (classic?) are for a "classic" fat businessman shape, yes.

Yep. Classic is code for 'John Candy' apparently.
