    You are kidding me right??

It is $8 for a screen protector on a phone I haven't even heard of and I call myself knowledgeable on phones, especially HTC and android ones. Also it was apparently according to the description of rjs-technology "made for apple"
Brand Belkin? Who knows because there is already so much wrong information.

Of the 28 items in the clearance bin, most are like this S2 case. It is six years old!!

Note: buyer pays return postage + 10% "restocking fee", and that's even if it gets refunded. Think before you buy something with such sketchy information whether you trust it will be right and if you could be bothered to try and get your money back.

      Hi,

Just to clear some things up for you.

      1. When listing items we use templates which usually contain pre filled information so you can imagine when creating 100's of listings it can be quite easy to accidentally forgot to change a brand or compatibility. In that $8 price for the screen protector, you must also factor in the cost for postage, packing supplies, staff, electricity, vehicles, time ect;

      2. This is just to start off with, we are in the process of sorting through items and reducing them but the items listed were just the first ones we got around too.

      3. As for returns, we do offer 30-day returns if you don't like the item or if it is faulty. If you simply change your mind then yes a 10% re stocking fee will be deducted, this is to simply deter people from "Renting" our items for 30 days and then returning them, where as if an item is found faulty then we cover return shipping and provide a full refund to the customer.

I hope I was able to clear some things up.

      Kindest Regards

    • Funnily enough, I have actually heard of them. Work use to use them looong time ago.

  • Hi,

Items are listed from $2.49 - this obviously isn't the cost for postage, packing supplies, staff, electricity, vehicles, time etc. But you can sell it that cheap.

Also returning, if 10% restocking fee, say 25c is applied, that is $2.24. Say postage is $2 (unsure of how much it is, but for the purpose of the exercise) you need to package it all up, drive to the post office and send it back all in the hope that you will get refunded. It would be 24c refund. I value my time more than that personally and I'm sure others also do. I wouldn't bother getting a refund for it.

Note that I'm not exactly having a go at you, I am just wondering how you expect to make any real profit on phone accessories that are six years old. I know you have some good deals here but there are so many conditions if you get your item and you either don't like it, it doesn't fit etc etc.

    • Well we are making a loss in this case but it's best just to get rid of old stock then having it sitting there and getting even older.

I do agree with you there that it's probably not worth returning but that isn't our intention but for higher priced item then it would make sense to return if it's not suitable

That's alright I understand, I'm glad to get feedback. You would actually be suprised how many people go online first to fine older accessories because retailers don't sell them anymore. The profit margins on these items are pretty low so I do agree with you there but it's good to be able to offer a range that not everyone offers anymore.

      :)

      • Yeah I do have to say if I had a six year old phone ebay would probably be the first place I would look!! And yeah it does look good to stock all sorts of stuff, even if they are mostly old :)
