Likely useful for situations when you ride your bike while wearing sneakers and no gloves as per their photos.

  • Overpriced.

Just fishing line sown into the material. Lots of other brands do similar (eg Draggin) for a cheaper price

lol really? show me links to all these other brands that have the Kevlar as part of the denim fabric and not just sewn in as a second layer inside. while you are at it, show me a pair of draggins that are less than $240!

i agree that these are overpriced though. most brand name jeans, like anything else, are overpriced. I have had a few pairs of RHOK jeans and crash tested them.

      not bad for $135

side note… do they use kevlar/aramid fibres for fishing line?

      • Those RHOK jeans don't look too bad. What kind of crash did you have with them on? I was going to get a second pair of draggins but they are expensive and if these do the job. I can't see why I won't get a pair!

        • i got clipped from behind at around 50km, slid for a bit and then ended up with the bike on my leg. a few holes/tears in the denim, but the kevlar looked like nothing happened. kevlar is made by elves i'm sure lol! it's incredible stuff.

        • @Jabbawingo: Thanks for the mini review :D

Where did you get your pants from?

        • @m0tyrider: no probs mate. I bought them through that eBay store I linked above.

        • @Jabbawingo: Do they ever get stock? :P

        • @m0tyrider: no idea, I haven't bought any for ages.

More reviews here instead of just the one.

  • I've had a few pairs of kevlar/aramid jeans. Most comfortable by a country mile are these. No official testing results/rating but good coverage all over and extremely comfortable. Don't waste your time with the Aldi ones either, they were terrible.

  • Bear in mind these are only good when you are sliding.
If you pick a fight with a pole / curb / car / anything stationary these won't do anything for you.

      now he tells me….

The fitting was for people who definitely skip leg days last time I tried these on

    • The reviews suggest they were made for Harley riders: keg on skinny legs type body shape:)
