          Absolutely not true.

I am with Commonwealth, and have this exact setup.

Perhaps Westpac is different. I need to have another chat and may be move bank if they cannot do what CBA has done.

    Yeah Commonwealth allows this.

    I have the same setup.

You can also give access to the other person to move funds from your account, even though they aren't an account holder.

    • Thanks, thought this was the case

Does the mortgage just come out of a default/primary one, if u have multiple set up?

You can choose where the repayment comes from when you set the loan up. (Including home insurance and packages.)

Yes, definitely possible. I had an offset account setup in my own name, and my wife could not see it in internet banking (she wasn't happy lol).

    • we need to talk

Definitely possible. If you're under their Package you can also have multiple offset accounts. You can nominate repayments to come out from any account of your choice so the flexibility is definitely there if you need it.

  • Just open a MISA account and an Everyday Offset account.
