    Bestjet, fly 365 etc..

    Never booked through them before.

      Used them both before, no problems. Note some of them take a few hours to actually confirm your ticket with the airline, so theres a small chance that it won't be confirmed. Very unlikely though, you only usually have problems if its a pricing error.

    Via BestJet, it says excludes any fees/taxes payable at airport??
    Are there any??
    Also, what percentage of the ticket does Qantas charge for a 3 year old?
    Also, looking at heading to HK in November, do you reckon there will a better deal than this by then or is this likely the lowest flying Qantas?

      It's just about as cheap as it gets for Cathay Pacific or Qantas tier direct flights.

    Bestjet is a Queensland company. You can take their quote and go to flight centre to have a price match. I did it before without problem

    Thanks OP, been waiting for this, although not as good as the Qantas Flash sale for under $500 return, none the less still really great price for a direct flight.

    I think it is still a good deal for ~$530 Hong Kong return, I took the previous deal early July for $460 for flight in Nov though. Because I missed Cathay deal mid June ($599) glad I missed it.

    Qantas only do it when prodded by Virgin. I'd rather see QF go broke. I think I'll stick to Cathay Pacific.

    CX has made a huge loss in the past year and their service is just as lousy if not worse than Qantas. Between the two devils I'll choose Qantas to support an Australian business.

    On a sidenote for the OTAs you collate from. Try and include Skiddoo into the mix?
    Skyscanner is showing better rates. Using your first linked example MEL-HKG 06/11 outbound and 13/11 inbound, Skyscanner forwarding to Skiddoo shows $528.64 with CC fee included for AMEX, Visa and MC, whereas IWTF shows BestJet at $530.49 and then slugs a CC fee of 1.5% for Visa/MC/PayPal and 3.5% for AMEX.
