DIY Laser Hair Removal

Hi fellow Ozbargainers,

I am at a predicament as I am tired of paying hundreds of dollars to laser clinics for hair removal sessions for my female family members. I have learned that everytime they are done with one body area, there is always another body area which would also need attention.

Although I am respectful of the need, I am looking for a better way to address it without ending up paying so much money in the long run.

Please advise, is there a cheaper and potentially better, similar to laser, hair removal option, such as a DYI appliance at home? Has anyone had any experience with any of these methods?

    Wax?

    • Too painful i guess… I suggested a shaving kit and was stared out of the room.

Just find the most powerful lazer you can buy online(preferably the illegal ones that can take down an airplane) and point it at your crotch to see what happens.

For what it's worth lasers are unregulated in most of Australia, so once you've finished burning off their hair you can do a side line in tattoo removal.

Why are you paying for them!?

Unless you have some multi wife thing happen, the only female you should be paying for is 'wifey'.

All the other 'females' who are old enough to get laser sessions are old enough to pay for their own!

wife has been very happy with it

  • The handheld home use laser machines are inneffective and a waste of money. Your only option is wax or laser at a facility (even the commercial laser machines are inneffective and dont get rid of hair permanently). Best case scenario is to find those 10 laser sessions for $80 type deals that places advertise and buy a bunch.
