Hi, I'm interested in setting up a share portfolio. Are there any free brokerage deals around at the moment?

CommSec Introductory $600 free brokerage for new customers.
The condition is "All free trades must be completed within 3 months of account opening". Do read the T&C carefully.

If you're looking for a no frills trading platform, I can recommend Selfwealth which I use. It's the only broker that has a flat fee of $9.50 no matter how large your trade is. I've pmed you a little more info.
They offer 10 free trades lasting one month if you sign up using a referral link.

I use CMC Markets. It's not free, but if you're going to keep buying shares periodically over time, it looked like the best option to me. I use it to buy a Vanguard ETF once every 3-4 months or so.
