  • What is a good keyboard for iOS been using the standard one.

    • +3

      I like GBoard from Google.

    • IOS11 has one handed keyboard built in

  • Been using swiftkey for couple of years on ios. Best alternative ever to the stock keyboard, it also does swype and it is free, with lots of options. Hope this helps someone.

    • Better than gboard?

      • Haven't tried gboard, liked swiftkey and stayed with it

  • With these 3rd party keyboards. Is there some way to find out if they're logging keystrokes?

    • +1

Just installed SwiftKey and from my days on Android they all do log keystrokes it's what they do with it that you need to check their respective policies. They normally log to provide analytics and stats for your typing.

Used SwiftKey on my Note 2 as that was the stock keyboard but was labelled as Samsung. Then on my Nexus it was Google keyboard.

I noticed on iOS the keyboard switches back to the standard one when you come across a password field. This is good for the security minded folk.
