  • Nice! Thanks for that man. I just bought one.

    I love this website :P

  • These are a couple of bucks cheaper than the competition and includes free delivery so I guess its not too shabby if you're not too concerned about sound. pretty nice minimalistic design to it too :P

  • -1

MSY has them for $17. The free delivery is good though if you can't get to a store

    • +1

Yea don't forget this is ACTUALLY cheaper though LOL it's not just $17 pick-up + instant vs $17 free delivery + waiting time.

      • +2

Haha the $2 difference doesn't really matter to me that much. I just like the ability of being able to physically pick up the item, esp because Aust post has been dodgy for me a few times in not leaving notice cards when things arrive.

Plus, who knows. Maybe someone wants them right now really really bad =P

        • Maybe someone wants them right now really really bad

Wow, is MSY really open at 1.15am? :o

Or were you referring to a brick thru the window job? :p

          • +4

@StewBalls: Haha I was referring to within a day

And if you're going that route, it's probably much easier to break into MSY than wireless1.com.au's warehouse :D

But geez, if you're breaking into MSY you'd wanna leave with more than LS11's!

  • very nice for its price, and delivered too. i bought these at full rrp, not bad at all.

  • Nice, was going to buy these from MSY this weekend due to purchase of new speakerless monitor, this saves me a bit of driving and lining up.

  • +2

sweet deal, id buy them if i had a use for them.

    • Same here, great deal for decent little speakers! :)

  • Anyone know of any good, loud, inexpensive wireless speakers for a laptop? Ta.

  • +3

The bad thing about these is that they're NOT USB powered, so more clutter to plug into the wall outlet. For small portable speakers like these, they should really be USB powered.

    • +3

Agreed, I've got a couple of sets of Z-5s that I was lucky enough to pick up from Kmart one night @ $25 a pair! Good old Kmart, the random stuff I find with prices slashed on the last couple of items in stock, when I go in there post 10pm, is astounding! :D

      • +6

I'm still surprised they offer 24hr kmarts! I mean seriously, who at 4:30am suddenly decides "hey, I think this chair needs a nice throw." Woolies I could understand being 24hrs (none of which I know of) but kmart really? What's next, 24hr hairdressers??

Saying that though, I've actually been to kmart at 3am. Was drinking with friends at their new apartment and figured a fort would look decidedly nice in their empty living room. Needless to say, we walked outta there with alotta plastic mats, pillows, folding chairs and baskets :D

        • Yeah, I know what you mean! The Kmart is 24hr but the Coles supermarket in the same centre shuts at 10pm! Go figure! ;)

    • They're $15. What can you expect? =P

If you want USB powered, I'd go for the more expensive Logitech V10 or V20's, priced around $60 and $90 respectively (theyre cheaper on staticice but you've gotta find one which actually stocks them and take into account delivery, etc)

      • Well, I'm not saying they have to be USB speakers (no 3.5mm cord) since they're more expensive , just USB powered. Though I did get some V10's on ebay for $30 shipped recently. I suppose they're not bad for $15 but unless it's a 2.1 system with a subwoofer which needs a separate power source, they should really be USB powered.

  • hi does anyone know what why this is so call wireless since there are cable to plugin?so they still work as
normally pc speaker have to plug the cable in to pc right? or the cable just for power up?> i m really confuse

    • +1

      The store's name is Wireless1.

The speakers are not wireless in any way.

  • +6

    haha i m so dumb

these aren't heavily discounted. (definately not 60% off)

Seen them for, $17 at pcdiy, centercom $18, iibuy $19, $19 at dicksmith, $18 at crazysales. (all aussie)

I was thinking about getting these, but after I found out they're not that cheap/exclusive, and they're not actually wireless, I'm not too sure.

Plus I've read some imperfect reviews, they say the sound quality isn't that good unless you've got it quiet.
and the finish on the speakers leaves fingerprints and is easily scratched, aswell as the volume knob doesn't change the volume when you're using headphones through the port it has.

Although these could very well be the best you can get for this price, I dunno, I'm not getting them though.

  • +2

Hi all. The 62% off was when the Logitech RRP was set at $39.95. So 50% off is correct now.

  • Great deal! consider cheapest on ebay is $29!

  • Thanks for this deal, bought a set for my in-laws. Not the greatest speakers in the world, but better than the god-awful beige crap they have had for 10 years now.

  • Bought one of these for $17 or so a couple of months back. So definitely not that much cheaper as others have mentioned. It's definitely not great, just merely does its job. Not much you can ask for at this price I guess.

  • Agree. These speakers do the job. They are not 'good' speakers. I've bought plenty of cheap $10-$20 speakers before. The build quality all sucks (what can you expect for that price?). These speakers are probably the best for the price range - quality wise.

  • Just a heads up for all, bought these today, and they were displayed as $30. However I notified staff about the advert going, and was asked if I was an email subscriber to get the deal. Luckily I was after they searched me up on their database.

Considering theres a W1 rep here now, I would assume they would recognise this as well?

  • The LS11 have now sold out, thanks everyone!
