So I'm in the process of buying a treadmill off ebay with the fathers day special code 20% off. To protect the carpet at home, does anyone have recommendations about buying a mat to go under the treadmill. Some of the prices seem ridiculous and I wondered if it would in fact be cheaper to go to bunnings and buy some rubber mat or similar to put underneath instead. Advice would be welcome thanks

Some old lino. A small sheet of plywood.
Just buy those heavy duty rubber mats people use to line their ute tray with at Bunnings, it's on a big roll and you cut whatever length you need.
we had no mat under treadmill and we used treadmill for over 5yrs. No issues but we had really think carpet. Just vacuum it once in a while.
