    From $2, not bad.

Most of the $2 stuff is now $1?? Not just the HDMI cables? Might have to take mine back and get a $1 one!

  • Just saw in Greensborough, VIC as well.

  • Box Hill had these yesterday as well.

Not that I'd ever pay anything more than 5 bucks for an HDMI cable, 2, now 1, is still a pretty good deal. I have too many as it is anyways.

How does this compare to the Monster gold plated HDMI cable?

      lol

The difference is about 50 bucks

  • Is there any difference for 4k HDR , hi speed data, ect in HDMI cables ?

    • these would be basic 1.3 HDMI, you need proper specs what what your devices are compatible with and what you want to do

    • In the pic you can read "High speed HDMI cable" so should be compatible with HDMI 1.4 & HDMI 2.0
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/242526

      • I don't see 'high speed' written in the photo
But from what Ive read, they just work
OR you will see a problem

        • There are some scenarios where you will see sparkles when the source is sending high colour range but the cable doesn't carry it. Although most people wouldn't even notice it.

        • "high speed HDMI" is written on the cable itself, can read it if you enlarge pic.

        • @Blackrose: I see now

        • @Blackrose: Excellent spotting (and photo quality/res in the first place)!

  • HDMI's aint HDMI's

    • Oils ain't Oils , good one.
I know it's just 1's and zeros but is there more bandwidth or something needed as the information flow increases

      HDMI 2.1 ?

      Edit- ok googled
      2.1 is just the connector
' High speed ' HDMI cable for gaming in 4k HDR with the extra frame rate ,as this is starting to push the bandwidth of normal HDMI cable
So unless the normal cable fails to send a clear picture ,it's working fine
These should work perfectly for 4k HDR 24 fps movies

  • I saw a few Pendo Pad 7s for $19 at my local coles.. any good? Might be worth it as a digital photo frame?

    • +1

Digital photo frame possibly, but that's about all its use right there.
Can't be a Netflix machine, gps for car, kids tablet or really anything else.

  • HDMI cable is 1M with ethernet, stock available at Richmond, Bridge Rd, Vic
