    Anyone from HK here? :)

Australian passport holders can now use e-channel for faster immigration at HKG: https://www.ausbt.com.au/how-to-skip-the-queues-at-hong-kong…

      But not on Virgin

      • "all Australian passport holders are eligible for registration"

        • -1

"Following the launch of non-stop Melbourne-Hong Kong flights, Australian Business Traveller understands that Virgin Australia is reviewing its e-Channel position, but is not currently part of the program."

        • @sambutler9876:

          Um, that section comes after:

"If you’re not a citizen of those countries, a shiny frequent flyer card can be just the ticket, with the service also open to …"

Any airline. As long as you hold an AU passport: http://www.immd.gov.hk/eng/services/echannel_visitors.html#a…

        • -2

Only if you are a frequent visitor.

Casual visitors cannot use their Velocity cards/status, as you can on QF or CX. People really need to learn to read.

If you don't hold an AU passport you need to be a frequent visitor. If you do hold an AU passport that requirement is waived. The link explains it all.

"People really need to learn to read."

          Yes, you clearly do.

        • @dazweeja:

So, on your first visit to the e-channel you need to enrol… then after that straight thru the e-channel (on subsequent visits)….

  • good prices to HK right there

  • I go to HKG twice a year on business never seen prices like these about to book some.

  • Has anyone here done Hong Kong with a baby?wanting to hit somewhere in Asia but unsure I wanna stick to resorts. Hong Kong sounds fun but also want to be realistic!
