  • No calls or texts to European countries?!

    • Hi Tightwad,

Correct - texts and calls won't work to anything but a UK number.

You can purchase extra credit to use for international calls if you would like. 10 Pound or 20 pound extra credit can be put on your sim for you.
Email us at [email protected] if you would like us to organise something for you.

      Thankyou

        Pretty useless then IMHO.

  • Just to clarify, is this 9GB or 12GB?

    • 9GB - ThreeUK changed the AIO20 to 9GB down from 12GB not too long ago.

      Thanks

      • So I guess the photo on this page & on your webpage is wrong then?

        • Hey Gaz,

Spot on, the photo we have says 12GB but it's actually 9GB.

Unfortunately Three haven't released an updated picture with the 9GB as of yet.

        • @So Easy Travel:
So you can't take a photo of the actual item?

        • @So Easy Travel: I'm over here on one of your previous deals. It appears that the "add on" gives you 9GB included and the another three at a discounted rate. But it's all pretty confusing

  • What's the expiry on these rep?

    • Hi Marlboro Man,

The SIM has no shelf life (before using it) however it will expire in 12 months if not recharged.

      Hope this helps - Thankyou

  • Would avoid buying from So Easy Travel. I previously ordered a SIM card but didn't get a tracking number and the card never arrived. Sent several emails but they all went unanswered.

    • Hi Blahhhh,

I apologise for your emails not being answered, we have had issues with out 'help' email recently.

Please email our admin email ([email protected]) so we can sort this out for you. Please send us your order number and any emails you sent through to our help email for reference.

      Thanks

    • Also waiting on two SIMs I ordered in early August. Won't be using again!

      • Hi Jett,

I replied to your message on the NZ post. PM me your order number I can take care of this for you.

        Thanks

  • I also didn't receive my NZ sims :(. Don't need them anymore now either. Wouldn't rather not use again, but I actually need some Europe sims - has anyone received their sims successfully from this seller?

    • I have.. Back in May I think. They were also NZ sims

    • hi Jemmett,

Please PM me your order number and I will look into your order and have this sorted for you.

We have done a fair few Europe sim posts in the past few months with little complaints, you can check our older posts. It's only our NZ post recently that we have had some issues with but we are here to look after anyone who had issues.

      Thanks

      • Hi I sent a PM but haven't heard anything back. I just received my U.K. Sims thank you! But it says on the back they expire in November… I'm not exactly sure when I'm going but it won't be before then - I thought you said above they have no expiry?

  • Hi rep, Any good deal for US and Canada. For travel next month.

    • Possibly a post for US comming very soon. But nothing certain at the moment.

      Keep an eye out.

  • No endorsing the seller (no experience) but the SIM is pretty good. Frankly, it's a ton cheaper than buying a US sim if you're traveling to america and want a similar data allowance.

  • Hi Rep,

We will be heading to EU + US late Oct/Nov for 23 Days, looking at 2 x SIMs. Will any specials come up in the next couple of months? I was going to use my VF $5 roaming, but this seems better value if i can make 9GB last 3 weeks.

Do you know which network 3UK roams onto in USA?

    Thanks

    • Hi HyperZ,

This is definately going to be our biggest discount for this SIM card as we are clearing out our remainding stock. Ususally we do this SIM at 30% off.

ThreeUK roams on the AT&T and T-mobile networks on 3G speeds.

3G would be appropriate for any social media apps and google searches and maps etc. But don't expect to be streaming any HQ videos.

      Hope this helps you. Thanks!

  • Hi OP, if I buy tomorrow, can you express ship same day so I can receive by Tuesday? Where do you ship from?

    • Hi Watermelonbrain,

      We are in Sydney CBD.

If you put an express order through today we can have it to you tomorrow (would need it posted by 5PM). Please in your order notes leave your OZB name so I can keep an eye out for it.

Only to this if you are leaving Wednesday. I wouldn't risk it if you are leaving tomorrow.

      Thanks!

  • /Heading to London first. Better to buy from there or order this first?

    • Get the £30 PAYG 20GB sim from vodafone uk, it's better speeds and the roaming around the EU is superior at least in Italy/Netherlands/Croatia.

Also the vodafone sim rolls data over to the next month if unused whereas 3 plans don't.

Don't waste your money on the $5 Aussie roaming fees it's a rip off unless you're only there for a week or so.

    • +1

Yeah there are alot of new prepaid 'roaming' plans comming out now due to the EU roaming laws being changed. If you are headed to UK first there will be more options for you to buy. EE, Voda, Three are your best bets.

If you buy this sim from uk @20 pound your looking at 32AUD. The benefit from buying from us is just having it sorted before you go and not worrying about it when you land in the Airport.

So it's all up to you.

And as Curkz said - don't use 5 dollar a day roaming unless your stay is very short.

      Hope this helps!

I recently purchased a prepaid simcard from a Vodafone store in Athens for 10 Euros (~$15aud) and it provided me with 10 gig data for a month. Good value I thought and only took 5 mins to sign up. Data only as I didn't require any phone calls….who doesn't have Whats App or facebook messenger these days anyway?

  • Need phone and data to be contactable from home. 3 weeks london Croatia nd Amsterdam

    • Hi Harpie,

The SIMs have the mobile number on the back of the sim so you could pass that onto your loved ones before you go. Otherwise Whatsapp and Facebook messenger would be good also - it doesnt use too much data outside of data calls.

      Hope that helps.

      • Does it allow incoming calls?
If so, how does it charge you for them?

It has been over 3 weeks and my order has yet to arrive from the previous NZ deal. Checked the mail today with no luck. Sent an e-mail and PM'd to the So Easy Travel OzB account with no response, despite seeing that they have replied to posts here. Could you please address my query?

    Thanks.

    • Same situation here. no goods, no response.

  • Had a very mixed experience with Easy Travel and the 3UK Sim.
I purchased two and they both came in time for my trip but once I open them and used them they had no credit on them. Had to go out and buy a Vodafone sim (which worked really well) Couldn't get the sim cards fixed till I got to the UK (last 3 days of my trip) the staff at the 3UK store were fantastic and helped me out. Sent emails to So Easy whilst overseas and got no response till I posted on their FB page and got a quick response and a refund since both sim cards were faulty. Hit and Miss I guess!

    • Thanks Onion, i just purchased 2 SIMs and will be mindful of this. We won't be going to the UK, so hopefully it all goes smoothly.

@Rep, can you ensure the SIMs are operational for order #1884?

      • Hi there Hyper

The Europe SIM card comes with clear instruction guides to go ahead and activate your bundle.

Once you receive it, the guide is very simple to follow and your sim cards should be working fine.

        • Sarah
    • Hi there onion,

we're really sorry to hear about the SIM cards, our sim card have a high rate of working and we have thousands of customers who have used us before.

Hope our staff helped you with your problem. Again, we apologise for the delay.

  • Be careful with this seller, looks like scammers to me, haven't received my sim for over a month now and they're no longer answering to my messages.
    Buy at your own risk.

    • Hi there raspudala

We have handled the situation with the New Zealand SIM card now.

Australia Post had held up the SIM cards in their depot and due to the high demand of orders we received, a lot of the SIM cards were lost in transit.

If you could provide me with your order number I am more than happy to have one sent out to you ASAP using priority shipping.

Again, we sincerely apologise for the delay in you receiving your SIM card, Rest Assured this will never happen again.
