I personally think the IQbuds look way slicker than Airpods - to me the airpods looks like a pair of OralB toothbrushes. I haven't used the Fennex app. Does it need the mobile to be outside to pickup the ambient noise? IQBuds have mutiple microphones in each earbud to process the ambient sound to the envionemnt setting.

Agree. I supported their launch on Indiegogo. They are quite decent ear buds. However is it not worth the hype to use it for conversation in noisy environments as they claim.
Their recent firmware upgrade has brought some refinements but they are still not worth the hype IMHO.
Why are people voting these up? 10% off? That wouldn't even be considered a bargain for an apple product.

Sony WF 1000x coming out next week at that price point. Seem to advertise all the same features at the iqbuds and IMO look nicer.

Yes,they are more expensive than Airpods but they have so many features and sound way better than airpods,you should actually see what they can do.
When "Cult of Mac" says "These smart wireless earbuds make AirPods look dumb" its says it all!
With another $400 discount, I'd buy a pair.
I think the AirPods look much better in the ear compared to these which stick out of the ears like mechanical bugs. If they didn't use the tacky silver colour it might have been okay. Kudos to the engineering team for their efforts, but I can turn my AirPods into something similar by using the Fennex app - amplifies and tunes outside sound.
