Just a heads up. Just had a pretty poor experience preordering from these guys.

Had ordered the latest XCom expansion that was released yesterday. Didn't receive my key until around 1:30 this morning.

Haven't had any issues with GMG previously but thought it was worth the warning for people who are very keen to play this right on launch.

    • I have never had any problems but never pre-ordered before. They say they give it out couple days before launch, i'll definitely be on their back if i don't get it at least 2 days before launch. Thanks for the heads up

    • Same. Very frustrating. Very poor communicating on their part too. Not even an email warning of the delay or an email apologizing, let alone some sort of compensation (if it was Steam or GOG, there'll be some sort of voucher handed out). That was the last time I shop with GMG.

  • I saw some websites offer cd-key at 43 USD.

Just wondering what is the difference?

Says its restricted to Europe only. Not sure if thats a good thing or bad.

      • So Australia is better off with Europe or USA server?

        • For all other b.net games Australian's are meant to select the America's region (Overwatch for example)
So you'd probably want the America's version.
I played the D2 PC beta in the America's region and got low ping servers.

I don't know if it'll be an issue with Destiny but I was always told not to buy EU keys for World of Warcraft. Might be worth doing some research before buying that jsut in case it's not compatible. It does say it's not redeemable outside Europe…

      • Thanks, I will look for other code

    • Kinguin is also as grey as they come.

Standard edition is only $59AUD at JB. Cheaper than buying it at GMG.

    • $62.50 shipped
      No pickup option
      vs
      $67.50 digital delivery

      No deluxe option through JB

      • Yeah but…

Salute Emote EXCLUSIVE TO JB HI-FI

        • lol I think I will survive without the salute.

I wanted deluxe for the 2 expansion packs and also includes:
          Legendary Sword
          Legendary Player Emote
          Cabal Empire Themed Emblem

Bungie Net $139.95 vs GMG $117.78 made the decision easy.

i am the one burnt by DEADSTINY Original, this game and the whole concept suck, given the vast opinion on the second one is just more of the same with worst off multiplayer (really, every one aim to have more player they reduce it!)

I hope it fail, hence Dont order it right away, preorder games is a bad idea!

    • Huh? Try proofreading before posting a comment

    • TL:dr pre ordering is bad, you are gambling that the game will be good. Often basing this opinion on its predecessor (which indicates nothing) or on the beta, hoping that the end product is simply a refined version (they are often very different, or exactly the same).
