    5PM onwards (e.g. after work) mostly but some may start a little later. All the times are listed on the events.

    Yeah. What's most frustrating is they don't say the participating shopping centres. Had to manually go to each centre's site to see what they are doing. So for example QV isn't doing anything which is a bit strange given it's in the middle of everything.

  BEWARE. I went to the last shopping event in The Strand centre - they were giving away matcha drinks and also cookie pie things. The time said FROM 5pm but there was a gianormous queue stretching right back through to emporium near Uniqlo, at around 4pm.

  if you're not in line by 4.30pm, i wouldn't bother going for the free food, as the wait time is not worth it. It felt like a mosh pit.

    Correct. We were in line at 4.10. We spent over an hour in lines, in total. All these free events involve mainly lining up.
