    7200 will always be noticeably louder than ur 5400rpm drives. Its not noisy but u will hear it run in the background.

  definitely louder than the wd reds that I replaced. its a trade off to the faster speed. my nas is kept in my tv unit so doesn't bother me so much. especially with hdd hibernation

  personally wouldn't recommend such large hard drives unless you know how to cover yourself properly.

  great price per MB from a great manufacturer, but these haven't be thoroughly road tested the same way the 4TB drives have.
