The wife & kid bought me a PS4 Pro. I had been jokingly hinting at it but never thought they would actually buy it :)

Keepers for life. Never ever let them go.

  • Got really bad attitude from my wife. Didn't want to go to the lunch I planned and booked. Just whining and complaining all day.

At least my son made me something at day care. Now I just have to find out where he's hid it.

    • Being unappreciated is no fun, and on Father's Day it's hardly excusable as an accident. But I'm sure regardless of how things went that day, you're worth being proud of as a dad, your efforts are valuable and deserve two thumbs up. Here's to a better day coming your way soon. 👍👍

      • How do you know?

  • Got pancakes w. bacon and eggs for breakfast, opened up my fathers day / early bday gift … a DJI Mavic Pro (which I was passing OzB links to the wife for, making sure she didnt pay RRP). Then spent the afternoon learning to fly the drone with the kids having a blast spotting the drone and chasing it :D

  • reversible belt…. :(

    • Like a chastity belt?

      • +1

don't need a belt for that - just need kids

  • A hand made crad from my daughter and a torch that really works very well and is nice and compact.
She did purchase it through her school fathers day stall.

From son and mums help $200….. supposedly i must spend it in bunnings.

    • Same, mine said "you rock dad 2017"
Also got two keyrings (to add to the other one from last year), socks, hat, necklace, hand painted mug.

  • Nothing.

    • Nothing sucks more :(
Maybe an olive branch is needed… maybe it was expected, maybe it wasn't.

My dad is dead, good guy. So drank some scotch and had a cigar, only day of the year I smoke.

  • I'm not a dad, but I got my dad a bottle of eagle rare bourbon, heard it's pretty damn good so hope he likes it!

  • A home brew kit: Australian Pale Ale, with brewing sugar and crown seals.
    A beer bottle cooler

I got a trip to the pharmacy and an expensive home DR visit as the little one doesn't have a Medicare card yet. Later in the day I had to clean and scrub the carpet as he perfectly timed a shit for the brief second he was nappy-less on the change table.

Then the little two week old smiled (even though he was just smiling trying to organise a nappy filler) at me and it was all worth it.
