Virgin Mobile - 3 Months Free ANY Phone except iPhone on a 24 Month Contract Cap

3 Months free access on any 24 month contract cap plan from Virgin Mobile.

Seems like the iPhone is excluded, with only phones from Sony Ericsson, Samsung, Nokia & LG included.

It says that it expires January 15 2010, but I assume that it's an error and that it actually expires January 15, 2011.

Good chance to grab the Galaxy S if anyone missed out on the previous deals.

    The title is deceiving. Must add: on any 24 month cap or plan.
    So you have to sign up for 24 months (!) to get 3 months free.
    Please change the title and I'll revoke the vote.

        I just signed up to the deal thinking it was 3 months completely free, now I'm stuck in a 2 year contract. I wish that neg vote was there to warn me.

        • if you can get a copy of the old Thread Title, you might be able to get the contract canceled for not fulfilling what was promised ???

          • @jv: If they had of read the contract that they agreed to, instead of just assuming what was posted on the internet was correct, then they wouldn't be in that situation.

      • friendly but incompetent
      • make frenquent mistakes with new pricing / promotions and take ages to find and fix problems

      coverage

      • good coverage (use much of Optus network, but not all)
      • often congested in quite a few areas though, so although you get a strong signal, data download is SLOW in some locations (especially CBD)

  • I just upgraded with virgin on a virgin shop yesterday and they told me they don't do 3 months free. Now this came up, does anyone have an experience calling to get this offer after they have upgraded, do you think virgin will still give me the 3 months free offer?

  • Virgin's loyalty team gave me 3 months free upgraded on iphone4 2 week ago. Just call Virgin (1300 555 100) and ask them transfer to loyalty team and go from there.

    • Never had any luck with their "loyalty team" in the past! They don't seem to care if you leave or not!
