I'v spent at least 8 hours looking for the best deals I can get on drones and this price is just unbeatable. I'd recommend you do you're research before buying any drone but if you want a user friendly drone with amazing build quality and great reviews… Look no further.

    Price is great. Remember this isn't AU stock, and you can't buy AU DJI Care Refresh. AU pricing around the AU$730 mark. We had a battery "brick" itself during an update, got an AusPost return label and DJI is going to replace it. If your single battery from CN or HK does this, you could be looking at a while to sort out warranty.

    Really? You can buy DJI Care for grey import Mavics. Did they decide to restrict it for the Spark?

    In any case I'd rather wait for another local deal to come up, just for the 2-year warranty. e.g. this deal that's $621 for local stock.

    (Or this one at $550, not sure how many were in stock though)

    With the PAINT code, the above deal is $693 for local stock. If you happen to be going overseas you can claim the GST back which will make it $623.

    2km range is for FCC regions.

    We're CE so you'll get about 500m.

    Great little drone though.

    If its the standalone copter, you're better off getting the FMC. Remote and extra battery is a must IMO.

      Absolutely. I bought the standalone because I thought I'd only use it when I didn't want to bother taking the Phantom and I thought smartphone control would be acceptable.

      I just bought the controller and it makes it infinitely better.

      No more fumbling to adjust gimbal angle and the tactile feedback from sticks can't be beaten.

      I really should have grabbed the fly more combo in the first place.

      Hindsight is 20/20….

    Mavic revision 2 is out, so revision 1 (Fly more version) should be selling under 1k for the grey import anytime soon. I'll be patient on that one!! :P

      They are having a 72hour sale from 7th - 9th september 25% off the higher end drones. Cheaper drones will be even cheaper

      Mi drone doesnt have follow me mode. If you dont want follow me mode, buy that drone, Its really really good! just doesnt have follow me mode. Worth the $
