    Do ceramic knife brands/quality differ, or are they all the same?

      They vary in quality as well, just like normal knives.
      The durability and craftsmanship is a main factor in the ceramic knives!
      If you get cheap ones, they break a bit more easier, and you have to dry the knives right after washing.

          Over time it goes more brittle.
          Any water droplets on it will slowly but surely sieve through the material over time.

      These would be shipped from australia. I'm not sure how customs deal with the ceramic cooking blades, but once they took my toy kunai on the grounds of it being a non-metallic knife. From memory the regulations state that it has to have metal somewhere in the knife, and the handle of the dx ones seem to be plastic while these are stainless steel.
