Camcard - Business Card Reader for Android A$1.29 for a Limited Time (Was A$12+)

70

Looks like description shows pricing in US$. Not sure what US$11.99 converts to in A$ on Play Store, so mentioned A$12+ in the title.

From the reviews I have read so far, looks like this is one of the top business card reader apps.

  • Do you know the benefits of the paid version over the free version? I use the free version and haven't noticed it lacking in any area so I'm not sure if it's worth upgrading.

I thought it might just remove ads, but I'm looking through the free version and I can't see any ads.

    • It says on CamCard Free description:
"*Free version: You can scan up to 200 cards in free version".

Have you scanned more than 200 cards in the free version?

      • Oh ok thanks I didn't see that. I only have a few cards in there at the moment so probably not worth buying for me. Cheers.

        • Google Rewards come in handy on such occasions. :-)

  • IOS version was free a few weeks ago

    • Yes, down from A$2.99. Bigger discount on Android. Android, FTW. :-D

  • What makes this one better than the inbuilt one?

Edit: OK, looks like it might only be built into Samsung phones. I thought it was an Android feature, not just Samsung.

    • Not all Samsung phones are/were created equal.
