What I know about Jetstar Business class is:
Worse than normal business class
Nothing special at all
So in your experience, how was it?
Looks like it is 38 pitch, quite similar to "premium economy" of the other airlines

Yes, but it was pretty horrible and the staff were really rude. They kept saying my ticket was only for was an economy seat and to vacate business class immediately.
What did you do after and what was the resolution? Im sure you wont let them go scot free after paying a substantial premium over economy class.
whoosh
Did your boarding pass actually say business? I would stand my ground if that happened to me.
whoosh
…sounds like a noisy cabin :P
I flew business with Jetstar about 4 or 5 years ago. It was ok. I haven't done a long haul with a real full service carrier, so can't compare. I'd say it was pretty similar to having flown premium economy with Qantas or other airlines I'd flown with.
Flew business with Jetstar in May and I'd been on premium economy with V Australia and it was pretty much the same experience.
Same experience with Air Asia.. About premium economy with a full service airline.
Air Asia business class comes with a bed. Not really the same as premium economy on any airline.
My business class to Osaka didnt even have lounge access. Imagine my frustration and avoid Jetstar its not business class, at best its premium economy without the lounge
Thanks. Was thinking of choosing this, for Bris To Osaka. Liked the idea of direct flights 8 hours or so .. but thinking normal Jetstar economy is so small for legroom. Who else have you flown with to Osaka? (Cathay was ok for economy)
Jetstar Business Review: Is It Really "Business Class"?
Overview
Jetstar's "Business Class" is positioned as a no-frills, budget-friendly alternative to traditional business class offered by full-service airlines. The experience is characterized by only modest enhancements over economy, making it more comparable to premium economy on legacy carriers than true business class.
What to Expect Onboard Jetstar Business
Extra Legroom: More space than standard economy, but not on par with long-haul business class products.
Seat Recline: Slightly more seat pushback, increasing comfort for shorter journeys, yet far from lie-flat seating.
Meal and Drinks: Meal service, water, and basic beverages are provided.
Entertainment: Tablets are loaned for in-flight entertainment, but this is not integrated at every seat.
Priority Services: Includes priority check-in, boarding, and off-boarding, speeding up airport procedures.
What's Missing Compared to Full-Service Business Class
No Lounge Access: Jetstar Business fares typically exclude airport lounge access.
Limited Service: No premium alcohol, amenity kits, or personalized service expected in flagship business cabins.
Seat Quality: No lie-flat beds or luxurious seating; seats are more akin to a premium economy product.
Cabin Privacy: Far less secluded and with fewer service touches than standard business class.
Value Assessment
Given these limitations, Jetstar's "Business Class" is generally considered closer to the premium economy of a full-service airline. If you're comparing prices:
Recommended Price Point: Consider Jetstar Business only if you can secure it for around 30% of the price of a full-service airline's business class fare.
Not True Business Class: Jetstar's use of the term "business class" is arguably misleading, and travelers seeking a traditional business class experience may be disappointed.
Conclusion
Good For: Travelers seeking a slight upgrade from economy class—extra legroom, priority services, and a meal—at a modest premium.
Not Recommended For: Those expecting true business class comfort, amenities, and service.
Best Deal: Only take this option when the price is significantly lower than full-service business class, as the experience is comparable to premium economy rather than traditional business.

Comparison reviews and traveler experiences universally highlight the limited upgrades and better value at lower price points.
