    not to be repeated.

How can you possibly gaurentee that lol.

    • Hi Slippery Fish - thanks for posting. The absolute rock bottom price for our 'The Classic' pillow has always been $68 (when sold as a 2 pack for $136), and this has been the case for our business for over 7 years. But we need to move some of our 'The Classic' pillows quick as we need the space in the warehouse for a new shipment of pillows. It's not a gimmick - it's just a really good price on a really good pillow. Cheers, TLC

How does it differ from my Logan and Mason one if I can ask, I'm not into pillows enough to know lol.

        • +2

The Logan & Mason pillows are Microlat Latex - so small pieces of synthetic latex filled into a pillow. Our pillows are 100% natural latex pillows made using the Talalay process. Natural latex is microbial, dust mite & mildew resistant and excellent for asthma & hayfever sufferers. The difference between natural & synthetic latex is huge, and the price reflects that.

          @Sp8472:

          You sure know your latex.

Thanks Scab - we have been in this business a long time. A great pillow can be life changing.

Chance of a similar discount on the Big Pillow range?

    • I am afraid not Catarack21. The best we can do on 'The Big' pillows are $146.00 for a 2 pack. We are low on stock of 'The Big' so will not be reducing them further. 'The Classic' pillow is the same profile (height) as 'The Big' - 'The Big' is just a longer pillow.

        Same here.
Would like to replace all 54 pillows in our motel.
Pity that no further discounts applied ;-(

        • Hi Watson4884 - if you are looking to buy a bulk amount of pillows we can of course discuss price (and potentially custom an order for you). As stated we have a container of stock arriving in 1 month - and until then we are in low supply of many of our pillows (not 'The Classic' obviously). If you are interested in discussing bulk order prices please feel free to make contact directly, via the Contact Us page on the website.

          Cool.
          Thanks for your reply.
(I bought a pair of big pillow from your Ebay store to put in one of the room and love them so much
And LIED to my husband "they are only $30 each lol)

        • Ha Ha! They are beautiful pillows - and while they are at the higher end price wise they are also guaranteed for 5 years. They recover their shape and density and they wont collect dust mites and skin cells/drool from people that have slept on them. They are ideal for a hotel/motel.

We have supplied a few properties in Victoria - always happy to chat on price if ordering a larger quantity.

So pleased to hear you love the pillows - thanks!

          They always do.

Her: Ohhh I saved money, it was marked down.

          <face palm>

Me: Did you check on OzBargain first or setup a key word alert?

Her: Ohhh I saved money, it was marked down.

          Me: Let's have sex then.

      • It shows $80 each for 'The Big' Pillow - how do you get $146?

Is there a different link for the two pack?

        • Hi Daemonseed666 - I am afraid our special on 'The Big' 2 pack at $146.00 expired at the end of last week. It is a popular deal that comes and goes so I am sure it will be back sometime in the coming months.

Just purchased one. Looks a decent pillow at a decent price.

I must say the discount process is confusing though.

When I added the voucher at the checkout it said I had been applied but the amount value never changed.

I then proceeded to Paypal, which reflected $60 but when it took me back to the website to confirm the order it was $75 again! $60 was deducted though.

    • +2

Hi Carpe Diem - totally agree. Our checkout process is confusing when using a discount code. This is why I added the note to the original post assuring everyone that if you see the green tick that the discounted amount will only be charged. We are working with our web developer to get this fixed. Our apologies for the confusion and thanks for perservering. It's a beautiful pillow - you'll love it.

    Hi Rep,

Concerned about the latex smell from some other pillows. Can you confirm if yours have that overwhelming latex smell as well, or any ideas on how to get rid of it asap?

    • +3

Hi Jobler - thanks for your message. So often a latex pillow will have a strong latex or rubbery smell if they are made from synthetic latex. Some people also detect a chemical smell from synthetic latex. It's not nice to sleep on, obviously. Our pillows are Talalay latex - so 100% natural latex with no chemicals or oil derivatives.

Smell can be subjective, so to answer honestly I will say that when one of our pillows comes fresh out of the carton (having been packed in individual plastic bags and then bagged in bulk again to protect them during shipping & storage) they can have a faint rubber smell. They are made out of rubber after all. But if they are aired for 24-48 hours the smell completely disappears. It is important to NEVER air Talalay latex in direct sunlight - sunlight is the enemy of latex. But once aired they are odour free. We have had 1 pillow returned to us due to smell in 7 years - a real example of their lack of odour.

      Hope this helps.

How is this compared to the genuine bamboo pillow?

    • +4

Hi Ozzyoi - thanks for your message. It is hard to comment on other pillow brands, as it is never good form to criticise a competitor. My advice would be perhaps to visit ProductReview.com and look up Bamboo Pillow and check out the reviews and star ratings. And then look up TLC Latex Pillows and do the same. We certainly come out favourably, and in my opinion we are by far a superior pillow. I am biased of course :-)

      Hope this helps.

      • +1

        Thanks for the reply :)

I am currently using Bamboo pillows which I had got it from an expo and they are amazing. I am eager to try new ones, if they are as good or even better than Bamboo.

The reason I am asking is I really like a firm pillow. So basically checking the firmness of the pillow.

        • +2

If you love your Bamboo pillow then do stick with it. I think finding a pillow that you love can be life changing so get another Bamboo if that is what suits you.

Our pillows are medium density (firmness) and recover their shape beautifully. Do note that we have a 7 days returns policy, so if you order a TLC pillow and it isnt perfect you can return it (within 7 days) and we will refund you the price paid.

What's the washing/care instructions for these? Can they be machine washed

  • +1

Hi justjack49 - thanks for your post.

Because our TLC pillows are all natural latex, they do need just a little bit of TLC in return. Being natural, the pillow is biodegradable and sunlight is its worst enemy. Too much strong exposure and eventually the latex will simply crumble away into dust. The pillow will enjoy regular airing, but keep it away from heat or direct sunlight.

Our 100% soft cotton covers have zips and are easily removable for washing. We recommend the use of an additional pillow protector.

The actual pillow can also be washed, but frequent washing will reduce its life expectancy. Gently sponge or hand wash in warm water (max 40oC) using a mild detergent. Rinse well in cold water and gently squeeze out excess water before drying in warm air - not direct heat or sunlight. It is important to ensure the pillow is completely dry before further use. Do not dry clean or tumble dry.

Your TLC Talalay latex is soft and does not like being involved in pillow fights.

    Hope this helps.

    • +1

We recommend the use of an additional pillow protector.

This is what I do with my memory foam pillow, I use a Dunlop pillow protector that is thick and has 3 layers.

Expensive at $30 each but well worth it as they absorb everything and keep the pillow clean.

      • You are exactly right Scab - a pillow protector is well worth the investment as it will actually prolong the life of your beautiful pillow.

I have a latex core pillow with a down outer. It never had a smell from new, has held up for probably 8 years. It's amazing.

Any plans to stock them? I haven't seen them for sale (not that I have looked all that hard)

    • Hi kevitkotw - I am afraid we do not stock a pillow with a latex core and down outer, although I have heard great things about them so maybe we will one day in the future. At the moment we are focused on Talalay latex and are really pleased with our product - for both quality & price point.

Hey rep, looking at buying The Classic, but also interested in getting The Soft as well - stomach sleeper here. Any deal on The Soft?

    • Hi dugtrio - I am afraid the deal is only on 'The Classic' pillows. Always worth asking though. We have a container of stock arriving in 1 month and need to move some Classic pillows to make room in the warehouse. All other pillow types (including 'The Soft') are getting low so we wont be discounting at this stage.

  • +2

Hi rep, is this recommended for a side sleeper?

    • +2

Hi neo-x. This is the perfect pilow for a side sleeper. It is a standard pillow shape and is 13.5cms in profile (height). On our website we have a page called 'Which Pillow to Choose' and The Classic is the first recommendation for a side sleeper.

      Hope this helps.
      Sleep well.

Cool! Was thinking of trying some nice pillows. Have no idea what kind my partner and I will enjoy, but we bought two!

    • Hi cNelson144 - great news. They are beautiful pillows. Sleep well!

  • very quick shipping! thank you :)

apart from inserting them into newly washed protector, anything we need to do with these new pillows before use?

    thanks

    • +2

Hi RamonWTB - nothing at all. If you get any sense of a latex smell then just air them (out of direct sunlight) for a day. They are fresh out of the carton so some may retain a slight smell - but 1 days airing will completely eliminate that. Sleep well!
