      Love your work doweyy

  • Sorry to ask stupid question, what does bidirectional do?

    • Charge a device and itself simultaneously

      • Interesting as I thought my older powerbank does the same.

          I did some Googling:

bi-directional Quick Charge QC 2.0 specification. This means you can charge the power bank at high speed as well as charge your smartphone at high speed.

The powerbank in this sale is QC3.0
Here's some more info on this magic from our mates at BLitzwolf

@malouphix: i have the powerbank in the post. No type c port in it. Just 2 usb type a ports for charging your devices. Phone, tablets etc. And a microusb for recharging the powerbank.

        • @malouphix: Cheers

      • @malouphix- Does it make sense to pay $3 extra for the bidirectional model ? both looks to be same in spec.

        • Depends if you'll use the bi-directional feature…?

        • +2

Bidirectional charging means if the powerbank does qc 3 one way. Charging a device. Then its qc 3 also charging itself back up.

This saves time topping up the powerbank once its depleted.

Charge a device and itself simultaneously

          Thats pass through charging.

        • @xoom: Thanks xoom

Quick charges your device provided they are quick charge compliant and the powerbank quick charges when charging up with a quick charger from the likes of tronsmart, aukey and anker.

  • Isn't it cheaper from shopping square's recent deal for $37 something ?

    • I remember seeing this cheaper but if you desperate then they got ya

That deal has sold out though

  • Any issues importing these or traveling with these being 20,000mha?

Travelled with two 20,000 mAh romoss powerbanks. No issues. Just put it in your hand carry and not checked in luggage.

  • I'm electronically challenged. Can someone tell me what bidirectional charging is, preferably in layman's terms? Lol

This powerbank support quick charge 3. If your phone supports quick charge 3. Then it charges really fast.

The bi directional part is to recharge the power bank. If your charger supports quick charge 3. Then your powerbank charges back up quicker also.

      Scroll up.

      • I was on my phone early and somehow missed that question above. Ta

  • Um…. Why does it say "Real Capacity 14,000mha" on the gearbest page?

  • Holding out for Aussie stock… I keep missing it when they go on sale. Fingers crossed.

    • $37 here for AU stock if you are quick, some just came back into stock.

      • Argh. Not quick enough… hate work..
If only I could spend all day on Ozbargain …

  • I am thinking the purpose of bidrectional function. I use powerbank to charge my device mainly during the night as I will charge the powerbank during the day to save electricity. If you are charging your device with power bank whilst your powerbank is also charging from main Power, what is the point? Why wouldn't we just charge both from main power? I probably overthink it. Can someone please enlight me?

    • Charging the powerbank. One plug. Charging a phone another plug. Charging a tablet. Another plug.

Plug phone and tablet to powerbank. Then plug powerbank to mains with only one plug.

      • Why not connect everything to the main or to a 5-port USB charger ?

        • Hope i am not sounding argumentative. Just giving out scenarios where plugging two devices to the powerbank then plugging the powerbank to the mains can happen.

Say there is only one or two power outlets where you are and you got 3 things to charge up. Powerbank, phone and tablet.

  • How long will they take to post it? I am going overseas on 6th OCTOBER. Anyway they can expedite the delivery??

    • Did you pay for extra for express shipping? I believe there are options to pay extra.
