    I think taxes are charged. The article https://gearbestaustralia.com/gearbest-shipping-to-australia… was written dated May 19th, 2017. I think GST on all items was from 1st of July??

    Be sure to base your decision on the fact that there is an updated Mavic Pro on the market, the Mavic Pro Platinum. Basicly more efficient hence longer run time (now 30 minutes), and 60% quieter.

      You can use the Platinum propellers on this Mavic and it'll make it more quiet too.

        Yes but the driver's won't get you the efficiency.

        Overall, it's not with an upgrade from the mavic pro if you already own one, but I am waiting for the platinum to drop a little in price. I see the value if the difference falls to around $200.

          That makes sense, but just remember Platinum is $1699 and Mavic Pro is $1599. If it was such a big difference there be a $200-300 price difference, maybe more.

          At the moment, market price for the mavic pro and the platinum is much higher than $100. Too rich for me.

          It's not a big difference but I always considered 30 minutes to be bare minimum battery life before I'd even consider a drone. So the platinum ticked a semi acceptable product to one that now ticks all the boxes (bar the tightarse one).

          30 mins is just an approximate, you do know that right? Realistically the Mavic only gets 22-23 minutes flight time, that's why fly more pack is there as a choice

          Was VERY tempted but I really like the Phantom 4 anti-collision.

          Maybe I should be looking at specialized function drones.

          Need one with high wind resistance to use as bait delivery when fishing (in lieu of casting 500m from shore).

    Just wanted to update that I did not get charged any tax/gst fees when my package arrived and value was over 1000
