    I have a feeling the ad copy was prepared weeks in advance of the event, and when Apple intro'd two new flagship models (and none called "7s"), they didn't catch all the changes needed.

      on one of the comp pages (maybe idrop) they say the iphone 7s was renamed iphone 8 as it was all getting too confusing!
