    The one place it did work was still more expensive than my current booking via hotels.com

    Thanks OP. Booked a hotel in Sydney in October and it worked out to be around 70 AUD cheaper then the rest (even the booking.com deal).

        Sorry for the super late reply, but once you click reserve, it takes you to a summary page of the prices including tax. On the left it says promotion code. Put it in there!
